How old is the carto? How many tank refills have you run through it so far? What brand is it?
Is your juice high in PG..........might need another hole.

From the looks of your tank, is that from Valley View? If so, I believe I got a pack of "punched" cartos from them and the flavor died after the 1st tank. I've been very disappointed with them flavor-wise, in fact I'm putting another to rest today.

It's from VaporLifeUSA. I'm used to wick clearo's. Maybe the 3rd fill. The mix is 65/35 I think.

I've had the same problem with carto tanks. I usually get good flavor off the bat, that is if the carto isn't defective, but they don't last long before the flavor subsides. The juice i'm using isn't that high in vg either. If you punch the holes too big it can leak, which I found out the hard way. Is it because only the bottom of the cartomizer stays wicked?

I have a problem with some carto's with 65VG/35PG mix. I'm still waiting on slotted cartos from china-tech, but I have an RBA, so there is no need for me to worry.

Different brands of VG will give you different consistencies. I've been on a fuzion vapor kick lately, and I have some difficulty with cartomizers due to the nature of the VG they use.

Yes, it leaks because the liquid isn't able to pass through the filler properly. This is what people refer to when they mention 'wicking.' The material and how compacted the filler of the cartomizer is will determine how well a cartomizer functions with certain liquids.
