So my next question on this form would be to know, Just how big should the hole size be when punching your own carto's. I have seen and do have the saddle valve for punching, but i have also seen people making 2 holes. The other reason behind my question is I find i go through the juice ALOT quicker. Is the hole from the saddle valve to big? should i use something smaller? what is the general consensus? I currently use Kanger 510 horizontal coil carto's in a Lil Mama tank

It all depends on the juice. You need to give more info about what ratio the juice you use is.

If its a thin juice thats like 80PG/20VG, you only need one hole and the hole needs to be fairly small or it will flood the carto.
For example, find a picture of what the hole looks like for the Smoktech Dual Coil Tank pre-punched cartos. That hole is small, but it feeds the juice great.
For a thick, higher VG juice though, that small hole is not big enough to feed the juice to the carto very well. You should use higher PG juices bc they work better in a tank, but you can use VG juices, but the carto needs to be punched correctly. I have one juice I really like but its 100% VG. For it to work I either punch holes that are alot bigger, or if its a pre-punched carto with the small hole, I use a finishing nail and hammer and make the hole almost the diameter as a finishing nail. I also then also punch a second hole the same size on the opposite side so the thick 100%VG juice can feed quicker.

You could always try it and if its not feeding well, take the carto out and make the hole alittle bigger. Its better for it to be smaller and then make it slightly bigger if needed. If you make the hole too big though from the start, theres nothing you can do bc it will just keep flooding the carto and you will need to use a new one.
With any tank, you should always take primer puffs to help feed juice to the carto. Take a few slightly harder draws on the carto without pushing the button. That will feed juice and ensure the carto stays wet. Look for little air bubbles when you take primer puffs. If little airbubbles are coming out of the punched hole, that means the carto is being fed juice. If you dont get any air bubbles, you need to take the carto out and make the hole a tad bigger or youll risk burning it bc it got too dry

What tank are you using? and where did you get the juice?

If its cheap chinese juice, then its prob 100%PG, which is very thin.

With a juice like that, the hole needs to be small and you dont need 2 holes.

Click on this link. This is just to give you an idea of how small the hole should be. These are the pre-punched cartos I was referring to in the previous post. The hole is small, but for a 80/20 or 100%PG juice, its perfect.
Tank Replacement Dual Coil Cartomizers, 2.0 ohms

If your getting gurgling sounds, you def punched the hole too big and its flooding the carto. Start with a new one and just make a very small hole. Like I said you can always go back and make it slightly bigger, but if its too big like it is on the carto your using now, theres nothing you can do

Love the advice -one full turn passed the pop- using the saddle valve.
Is that one hole or 2?
I run 100%VG and 70/30 (moving to 60/40).
Thanks

If you read what the other member told me in the above post 100% VG tends to be a thicker liquid and he puts 2 holes in his
carto's the pg is aparently thinner so Im going to try and use something smaller than the saddle valve cause im using pg. I can always increase the hole if i need to
