I'm into vapeing a month now and have decided to go with the Provari full size starter kit, of course once the money saved on smokes gets to that point. So I've been looking at the Provape site occasionally and last night noticed no full size starter kit offered. What's up with that? Am I going to have to order piecemeal now? I'll be ready to order in about a month or so.

Also, is the silver just bead blasted SS, or is it cerakote like the other colors, just curious?

I noticed that as well, about the kit and I have no Idea, mabe they are changing the kit or something. I have the silver and there is no coating on it, it is just a solid chunk of stainless. :)

I know I have not had mine, for as long as you have, but are you sure about that? If there is a coating, I can't tell at all, it has the feel of just stainless. If so has anyone had the coating chip off? My extension cap looks the same as my tube does, the regular cap is different, but I thought it was because the regular cap was not bead blasted. The only thing else, I would ask is did you get this info from provape?

Actually the satin silver does have a coating, but it's not the same as the colored ones. It's clear, but you can feel the smoothness and see the difference in how the body reflects light compared the to the caps which aren't coated. I have two minis 2.0 & 2.5.

So you did it! you wont regret it, I am going to be ordering a mini soon, and will be my 2nd provari. I have been slowly buying assories, that I want as they come available, and as what I can afford. I just got some drip tips in the mail, waiting on kir fanis provari rings, and a serinity gear leather sleeve.

It's weird when the kit came back on the site the price had dropped to 209.95, then today when I finally pulled the trigger the price was 212.95. Maybe it was a sign that I should have pulled the trigger when I saw the price had gone down 2 bucks, I could have saved 3 bucks. Hey a buck is a buck, JACK!

I made it up. ;) Lol! When I was trying to decide if I wanted to get a black mini or another silver, I read a lot of threads about the finishes. I just went back to see where I got the info and it appears I only read what others had posted. Since it's not sourced and I don't want to pass on misinformation, I'm withdrawing what I posted, because I don't know. It looks matte, it looks bead blasted, it looks silver, it looks like a ProThingy...

Thanks a lot Doc, now I'm sitting here staring at it.
