No hit and popping sound

Hiya guys, but of help needed. Using my evod 2 for bout 6 weeks and love it. Routinely changed the coil last night and since it's just not right! Takes a really long draw to get a proper vape and I hear a pop sound before anything happens?! Can someone shed any light on this? X

I would say the wick is over saturated. So much so, that the liquid is on the coil itself. So it takes longer/more heat to heat up the liquid, causing the pop....... When the liquid on the coil is gone, the liquid on the wick provides the "proper" vape that you want.

How do I fix it? Just put another new coil on? X

Some like the pop, others don't (me).

I'm guessing you're using stock coils and not recoiling/rewicking?
Quick fix would be to add some flavor wicks to "choke" off the juice. Not too much since you don't want to choke off the flow to the main wick. You can use silica wicks if you have them. Start with the thinnest silica wick you have and see if it solves the problem.

If you don't have silica wicks, then try some cotton. But remember to juice the cotton after placing it in top of the main wick.

Sounds to me like your battery is not getting a full charge anymore, you might want to look into a better one and use your current one for backup .....

Yep, sounds flooded.
Swap out the wick.

Rinse this one acting up and let it dry. Once dry have a look to see if the wick is properly filling the side slots. Fluff up a bit if needed.
Probably a simple fix to get use out of it.

Sounds like a flooded wick/atomizer - this happens to me fairly often. Try rinsing the atomizer out, and drying it w/ compressed air - the little tube usually fits right in the atty's hole. This works for me 9.9x out of 10 Good luck!
