So far so good... I am a 2-3 pack a day smoker have had only about 10 analogs since monday evening.

Cannot wait to experiment with the e-juice something not to harsh, and I think I need a better device that can keep up with me.

Currently running a Halo G6

Got a joyetech Ego-C headed this way to give that a shot.

So far my Opinion on the Halo is Travel only not for home use...

I am a pilot for a living (Non Airline) and cannot wait to use this while flying.

Welcome ...
Since you were into 2-3 packs a day, I would suggest you start with 24mg juice.
You can always cut it back later, but you want to make sure that you are getting enough nicotine, that you don't have cravings.

Also, the nicotine is not absorbed through your lungs, the "steam" molecules are too large for the lungs to use.
It's absorbed through the lining of the your mouth, throat, and sinuses.
So, don't "lung" inhale,.. hold it in your mouth longer, and exhale through your nose.

You will adopt your own way of vaping, but you want to get the most out of vaping when your first starting out.
'If you slip a cig in once in a while, it normal, and don't worry about it.
They will taste like $.... after cinnamon rolls !

Sounds like you have a good start ... congrat's

Welcome.

Don't be afraid to get some backups;
At least 2 batteries; I have 6.
At least 2 tanks; I have 4 protank-type.

A good glass tank is something to consider: mini-protank2

A battery box alternative to the threaded batteries for later on.

And I like to recommend these:

I have 4 batteries 4 tanks and 10 Carts. And thanks for the pointers. I did start with the 24mg this is new and from what i have been reading since every one is different it is a hit miss thing with equipment and juice. The vapor out of the halo carts seems a bit hot.

Yes the hardware can be finicy. If you are already using cartridge type system, a cartotank might be an easy evolution for you. The cartotank goes around a cartridge, and with a couple holes in the sides of the cartridge and juice in the tank the cartridge remains well moistened; more consistent vape.

As i am writing this only 2-3 hours and the 2nd halo tank is Leaking.. Cap is on and filled to .7! I am not pulling hard very lite and steady? I blew it out till no more let it sit about 20min and tank went to about .5 just below the wick and a wet spot on the paper towel and it seems to be wicking it self out?

Congrats on quitting the coffin nails. I was a heavy smoker myself who quite two months ago. I'd go with the Kanger T3S or an Aspire tank . The T3s ($6) is a single bottom coil and the Aspire tanks ($7-$12)are dual bottom coils with a warmer thick cloud with lots of flavor. Both are durable and very affordable. When a new coil/wick needs to be replaced you can just screw one in which is nice for someone new to vaping.

The joyetech package deal I got Included 5 T3S Tanks 5 Replacement Coils Should be here Monday/Tuesday... Already spending to much money but kinda fun..

I started with the T3S and two 1000mah ego-c twist batteries a couple months ago. You're going to love it. Now I'm running with the Innokin Mvp 2 battery and loving it. I think I found a new hobby. :vapor:

CP,

Congrats bro! :vapor: Wait until those tastetbuds repair themselves, food will be delicious (I gained a few pounds after I quit).

One thinig I'd like to add to all of the ECF wisdom given... Keep your juice supplies up. You'll eventually find an e-liquid you simply love and if you get into larger tanks and 8/16 wicks, dual-coil setups, that juice will go quickly! Ask me how I know... LOL

I bought the iTaste VTR box mod and went through about 30ml in 3 days. It tasted so good compared to the eGo-T CE4 I was used to. Next thing I know, my favorite bottle was empty. When you find yours stock up so you have have one in the tank and the others steeping.

Just saying...

Avoid doing what I did - which was to try a small "pot" of liquid and went on to purchase a *significant* amount (£100+ worth of liquid) As my taste buds recovered I actually started to dislike the liquid! I'm still smoking it however, as I've paid for it - but can't wait until that last bottle is gone so I can move on to another taste ha-ha :) Congratulations on kicking the 2-3 packs a day!
