Ok so after days complaining about my V4L products not working correctly (cartomizers not filling correctly, hardly any vapor) I decided ...... it I'm going to go to my local vapor shop. The place we have in town (small town mind you) is called vapor place and they only carry green smoke brand e-cigs and cartos. Which i'll admit is extremely limited. I don't like being stuck with one brand. But again, i was fed up with ordering products online and not having them work correctly after having to wait for it to come in the mail.

I bought a Green Smoke starter bundle that came with 2 batteries ( 1 the size of a regular cig and one 100 style) 2 usb adapters for charging, one wall charger and one car charger It also included 3 packs of green smoke cartos in any combination of flavors that i got to choose from. All of this totaled to $152 and NO SHIPPING. But wait there's more. They offered me 25% off if i gave them one of my other batteries and one cartomizer. With came to $37 off for giving them just one V4L vapor titan auto battery and 1 cool cart (about $26 total)

After using this e-cig i couldn't be happier. The vapor production on these cartos is amazing. I'm getting the "clouds of vapor" that i was looking for, on EVERY hit. The flavor is great. I've been vaping the mocha mist flavor all day and its wonderful. The vapor is thick and coupled with the flavor makes it seem like I'm sucking chocolate milk through a straw. I couldn't' be happier with the performance of this e-cig.

There is only 1 drawback: buying cartos and not refilling them is going to be more expensive. But tbh as much juice as I'm having to go through on cartos that aren't working on my V4L I dont know if thats such a bad thing. I think i'd rather pay a bit more for better performance.

I've been trying to refill my V4L products and I can't get them to perform after that. I've looked at several videos showing different methods for filling and cleaning and troubleshooting but I'm still not getting the performance. I've heard the the cool carts that I'm using are notorious for not producing a lot of vapor but I've seen videos where they do and i've even had a couple of times where they did. I also learned that PG based juice doesn't get as much vapor as VG juice so thats part of the problem. I'm probably going to buy some VG and add it to my juices to get more vapors i heard a lot of people do. I also heard that Johnsons Creek juice (what I'm using) may require a higher voltage than that of the V4L diamond series batteries in order to get the best performance. I've ordered WOW juice from V4L and when that gets here I'll hop back on the horse and try filling again.

I'm just ready to be able to vape and not have to worry about my stuff not working for me.

I read so many posts on various cig sized models with all the hassles and/or extra cost that I am so glad I don't use models like this. I like getting 18+ hours on a charge and not needing to refill for a day even though I am a heavy vaper.

Good luck with making this next one work out for you. Maybe it will do the trick.

Cig sized models are ideal for me because i'm heavy into the aesthetics and recreating the "smoking" experience.

Also i should clarify something. I'm not giving up on V4L their products are great and their customer service is even better. I just wanted something that I can vape on w/o having to deal with the hassle of refilling my own carts. Green smoke batteries do not have a sealed intake area on the battery so i have no desire to refill carts for it.

The youtube videos aren't that great for refilling Cool Carts. The condom method - Messy and a waste of juice. The spin method - A waste of time as you can just gently blow into the carto on the mouthpiece end to force the liquid to absorb into the material and then simply drip in more juice. It is also best to let the cart sit so that the wicking material can absorb the juice.

Also Cool Carts don run as hot which mean they don't heat up as much vapor and thereby producing less vapor. It was recommended to me to use WOW carts as they heat up more.

Err I just don't believe that Green Smoke is out performing a v4l model. And even if it is, it won't be for long.

Do you realize what you could have gotten from smokeless image for $152? Green smoke is highway robbery.

I don't understand how you think refilling cartos is some hassle. Remove cap, drop in a few drops of juice down the side, let sit for one hour. Vape.

Back when i used v4l I'd refill 5-6 cartos per night and was set for all day long. The batteries and cartos worked properly I just got tired of constant recharging.

I got the green smoke because its all my local place carries. The bundle i got for 152 was for 2 batts 3 packs of cartos of my choice. 2 usb chargers 1 car adapter and one wall adapter plus a pocket case. And they knocked off 38 for giving them one of my vapor titan auto batteries and one carto. Over all i thought that was one hell of a deal. But yes, it actually is producing more vapor than my V4L stuff. But i read the pack of the cartos and i think its because they use a PG and VG mix in their cartos.

The problem with only dripping a few drops in is that it doesn't fill the carto up. Its only good for a few vapes and then it needs more. But the main problem i had with the cartos was improper filling and being impatient. I was using the condom fill method and after using that a few times i think its terrible. You end up wasting so much juice and making a mess and you flood the carto. Also i think to get more vapor I'm just going to go buy some VG and mix some into my juice. A few people have recommended that to me already.

So i just got the green smoke to have something that i can just screw a pre filled into and vape while filling my cartos for my V4L and just let em sit proper until they are ready to use. I really like the green smoke so far so i don't think it was a bad buy at all. Besides I'm an SGA at gamestop and just traded in my old 3ds system for the cash to be able to buy it so i didn't take a hit.

I certainly sympathize with you being new here and experiencing some frustration. The condom method should only be used on the first fill. The carto should then be topped off every so often. I would use one carto for 3 hours or so and i was constantly hitting it. I don't understand why you aren't getting enough vapor. I haven't bought v4l in some time so maybe their quality has gone down? Either way this board is littered with posts from former Green Smoke people who learned a lesson the hard way.

Smokeless image uses horizontal coils. These are somewhat better performing than v4l.

All of this is really beside the point. I think what you need is a mod of some sort with a different delivery mechanism. Carto tanks will keep the carto filled all day for you. Clearomizers can help you see how much juice is left. A decent tube mod even running at 3.7v would last you all day and provide much more vapor than you are getting right now. Variable voltage mods will do an even better job and give you more options.

Really, if you can get over this form factor idea in your head, you will like vaping a whole lot more. This is why most of us here who've done it for any length of time switch from the lookalikes. It's night and day.

I don't doubt you one bit. I've thought about mods but to be honest I don't have a lot of money to buy any more products save for maybe some juice or replacement cartos. The look a likes are my favorite are mainly because i love the aesthetics and portability. I love being able to stash some cartos and a battery or two in a pocket case, put in my pocket and go. I did however buy a tank that contains a WOW carto and those are dual coil and said to get a lot more vapor. Also with the tank I can just fill it and vape all all day w/o worrying about filling.

Another thing i should mention is that I'm using Johnsons Creek e-juice and I'm not sure if it has different performance in V4L stuff and maybe is meant to work with their Vea e-cig that they sell or its meant to work at a higher voltage. Which is why i have some bottles of WOW vapor coming in the mail.

I'd like to be clear that i am extremely grateful for all the tips that i have been getting from you all and I believe you commented on another thread that i started when i was in my 1st few days of vaping and your information was very helpful. Its not about that at all. It's simply that I got blanks and juice and coupled with learning how to do anything and waiting for things to come in the mail. I was getting super frustrated because nothing was working correctly and i have nothing to vape on.

I started on the Blu starter pack and of course i still have that around but.. well... ....... that. lol.

OK... $152 for the kit you got is a little high. If you're attached to the cig form factor, I would take a look at Smokeless Image kits. Much better performance than anything out there, and less expensive than what you got. You can also buy prefilled cartos that are the same price as blank ones. For $1 more you can get a 78mm battery rather than the 65mm that will give you 1.5X the battery life.

/blink 152 dollars? /blink. Wow.

We all, or rather most of us, started with something along these lines :). The form factor when we first started vapeing was VERY important!!! :). Asthetics and all that. But a year from now, if you stick with vapeing, come find this thread! I went and found MY first thread, it reads quite a bit like yours!! I havn't owned an "asthetically pleaseing" cig like device in a hair under a year LOL.

BUT it's all good. WhatEVER works for you certainly DO. I just find what you spent on that a tad....spendy!!!

Good luck and vape ON!

$152 for the aesthetics of smoking, hummm. The majority of us want to get as far away from the look of smoking as is possible. It's a look and behavior that I am ashamed I was ever associated with. I'm glad as heck that no one confuses my PV with smoking. But, each to his own. Good luck to you anyway.

When i was a smoker i enjoyed it. The smell sucked and the ash and butts sucked. But i loved the taste and ccl about the look of it honestly. I quite smoking cold turkey almost 2 years ago but i always missed doing it and never really lost the urge. But after i discovered e-cigs i was ilke "omg yay! i can smoke again but without the disgusting factors and nasty chemicals" So it doesn't matter to me that it looks like smoking. I prefer the portability of cig look a likes more than anything else. Some have some neat visual appeals to them like my V4L batteries with the jewel tip and such. I don't know why everyone is so hung up on the price of my kit. its about the same price as most kits I've seen and the 152 was the price BEFORE i got 25% off it and i didn't have to pay shipping or wait for it to come to me. Green smoke does have higher prices than most but so far its performing better than my other stuff. Thats all that counts for me. I just want to be able to vape. My V4L stuff works fine too but as i said in my earlier posts I've just been having difficulties with filling the cartos as I'm still really new to this. So my green smoke is my alternate. I use em both. One for my carts that i fill, and the other for the pre filled. And might i add. their pre filled cartos have the best flavor I've tasted yet. and I've tried quite a few. It also produces more vapor for me than the other.

So again. Its a back up /alternate and i paid just about as much for it as my titan ultimate kit and didn't have to wait for it to come in the mail. Problems? I see none.
