No more Panasonic batteries in kits from Fasttech???

Hi There! I've been considering the Vamo for some time now,,,,,,I had saved a kit with Panasonic batteries in my book marks,,,,,

and I see they now have Sony batteries in the kits???

Any thoughts on Sony batteries?

I suppose I can always pick up some Panasonics when they have them back in stock (they were out of stock buying separately too!)

I also have to say,,,,,,,,I'm impressed with fasttech so far,,,,,,

MY FAULT, I ordered the wrong extra batts, the wrong kit, the wrong color LOL (I'm not normally this scatterbrained!) on Sunday,,,,,,,

I figured I'd just suck it up and deal with it,,,,,but then I noticed you could cancel,,,,,,,,,so I did,,,,,,and it gave me the option of having a gift certificate instead of a refund,,,,,,

this made it ENORMOUSLY easy to simply re-order the CORRECT kit,,,,,,,,,I paid with the gift certificate and it's ordered,,,,,,,,piece of cake!

My order is delayed a couple days,,,,,,,,but like I said,,,,,MY FAULT,,,,,and it was SO nice not to have to send it back and wait forever for a refund on my credit card,,,,,,,,,,,,,,very very impressed with their cancellation process.

The ran out of the panasonic batteries, that's why they switched the ones in the kits.

When I ordered my VAMO from FastTech I accidently ordered the one that came with a european plug charger. I found out I could cancel for a gift certificate and reorder the correct kit. I was so happy. It really is a nice feature, you dont have to contact them and then wait around, just cancel and reorder.

what everyone else said, they just want to keep the kits moving out the door so they switched batteries. 6 bucks for a panny they are selling like crazy. i know, i got 6. lol
those sony batteries are IMR high drain and are good batteries as well. rated at 2150mah i believe

thanks for the info on the Sony batts I figured they were probably comparable batteries. I'm glad the kit included the better charger, too!
