I have been vaping 18mg juice for about 2 years. I vape quite often almost all day long constantly. I think I must of messed something up. I cannot feel the nicotine throat hit any more make vaping not pleasurable at all. I even went and bought some 24 mg and it was the exact same thing, didn't not have any throat it. It was like I was vaping 0mg juice. I even went out today and bought a pack of Export A Green and still nothing like I wasn't smoking at all! I cannot feel the nicotine any longer. It has been like this for nearly 3 days now. I will likely grab a cigar or something tomorrow and see what that is like. It is really weird. Any one else experienced this?

Yes, this happened to me too. I have a couple of bottles of Halo SubZero here which, I might not be in the mood for, but the extreme Menthol does have a decent throat hit.

Thanks for the advice. It has been about a week now and I am still in the same boat. Funny because I never had this issue before. I will try a more of pg based juice. I do have 24 mg still, 18 mg and have a colt and cigarette every once and awhile. Everything is like taking a breath of air minus having the taste. It is almost like I have built up some sort of tolerance or damaged some receptors or something. Never had this issue when I was just a smoker but I thinking vaping gives you more nicotine than a regular cigarette does so I do think vapers may be more likely to have this sort of thing happen. Next little while I think I going to attempt to take a break and see if things go back to normal. Not sure if I should be worried but sort of am.

I think it's more of a tolerance thing, honestly. I'm not a doctor and I can't tell you for sure that nothing is wrong of course-- even if I were a health care professional, we're on a web forum-- but we often get a little used to the things we're vaping. When I first switched to a sub-ohm tank, even 6mg felt SO STRONG on the throat hit (and I was using 18 or 24mg before that) but I acclimated quickly. I know your situation is somewhat different but in general it's not at all unheard of to gain a bit of a tolerance to using the same set-up all the time.

What are you using as your device and heating element? One thing that might help is considering a change in set-up. I'm not suggesting you need to get an all-new ecig or anything, but even a temporary switch away from your usual atomizer/tank may either give you a better experience on its own, or allow you to return to your preferred method with better satisfaction.

Small amounts of Everclear or vodka in juice will also contribute to throat hit and both are relatively common DIY additions. If all else fails, you might consider adding a 5-10 drops of either to each 10mL of juice and see if it makes a difference.
