I'm starting to see less and less Vision Spinners for sale. I used to get them at discountvapers.com, but they no longer seem to carry them, at least not the 1300mah I like to get.

I found them at other website but they are more expensive, and also far and few between. It looks like they are maybe being phased out?

What are some suggestions on similar batteries (NOT the joyetech EGO Twist...I can't see the numbers at the bottom at all...poor eyesight..).

I guess what I'm saying, this may be an opportunity for an upgrade, but I don't really want to get into mods or anything too fancy. I don't want a device with those replaceable batteries (at least not right now). Is there a middle step after the spinners that has a rechargeable battery built in?

Thanks for reading and for your help!

I hate ego type batteries, but since you like them maybe you could try the Kanger Evod. I had one for a couple days before I took it back. Liked the look and the button did not look as cheap as the previous two, but it was hard for me to find it in the dark because it doesn't stick out the way the other two devices do.

Maybe its just because vendors got cleaned out for the holidays on starter type batteries? May not need to panic yet.

I didn't know that EVOD's were VV. Maybe I will check them out. I did just receive some info via the Discount Vapers supplier thread. Said that Vision has a new model of the Spinner that is coming out and that they will be for sale soon. Wonder what they changed about it. Hope the price doesn't shoot up, either.

Inokin MVP 2 mihgt be your best bet, but it is box shaped. It's not too expensive, has vv/vw and a longer lasting battery than the spinner. HTH:toast:

Yes, I've had my thoughts on checking that out. Do you recommend a good place/vendor to buy one? Not familiar enough with the brand/model to know what I should be paying for it.

Additionally, what kind of threading does it have? You know, for tank purposes.

for the smaller form factor try the innokin vv 3.0 it's only 800 mah but it is very nice.

i came in to suggest this .... vv3.0 gives you vv/vw and a nice airy draw, i actually prefer the vv3.0 over my mvp2 if it wasn't for the battery life. battery life of the vv3.0 isn't that bad if you're a moderate vaper, I'm a chain vaper and i usually get about 3-4 hours of vaping, i don't turn off the device because it resets the fire (puff) counter ..... which is a great feature of the vv3.0. with the counter i can easily predict a range when the battery will die out, i usually get to about 225-250 puffs before the light goes from green to yellow and then another 25 puffs before yellow to red

This is awesome. It counts your puffs, and is VV/VW???

Does the MVP 2 do this as well?

yes the mvp2 and the itaste vv3.0 are both vv/vw and have the puff counter, if you turn the device off the puff counter resets so i just leave the devices on constantly. I've gone well over 800puffs on a mvp2 battery over the course of a day but i always forget to check longer than that. the draw on the mvp2 is a bit tighter

The reason that you can't find Vision Spinners anywhere is because Vision is ready to launch the new version of the Spinner battery, which has improved circuitry and battery, as well as a redesigned dial. Vision Spinner II - Vision Electronic Cigarette

DiscountVapers is waiting for their stock of new Spinners to come in soon - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/discountvapers/510030-where-all-spinners.html

I'll have to watch for the feedback on that, sounds promising, as long as the price doesn't jump way up.

You can also use the battery voltage to determine that. Pressing both the + and - buttons simultaneously will give you a readout of atomizer resistance then battery voltage.

The button turns yellow when battery voltage drops to 3.7v

Awesome. I think my next step up will be the MVP II. Just got to find a place to buy it that won't rip me off. Looking forward to the Vision Spinner II as well. Hopefully the 3 spinners I have now (along with an Ego Twist) will pull me through until I buy one. My birthday is coming up, maybe I'll buy myself a present!

I know...I'm the OP for that thread. Just wanted to post here for additional suggestions. I think the MVP II is the way to go. the MVP III looks good too, but the MVP II is preferable because of battery life. I'm constantly on the road and on the go!
