I've been vaping with 24mg throughout the day for a while now. I don't particularly see the necessity in reducing or removing altogether the nicotine. It's a stimulant, just like caffeine is. Taken reasonably, it is pretty harmless. People think that nicotine is what is harmful in analogs. It's not. Between the 500 otehr compounds added to the tobacco plus the PAHs generated from the incomplete combustion, those are the dangerous things. The nicotine is just what makes 'em deliciously addictive.
But I grow weary of explaining this to people when I vape. They all say "Oh, it's electronic. But...does it still have nicotine?" because they're terrified of getting cancer from possibly inhaling a whisp of the vapor. More often than not I tell them that it does, in an extremely minute amount, explain how harmless nicotine is, etc. Sometimes I lie and tell them it doesn't, when you can tell someone is going to freak out needlessly. I have a friend who was curious to try it, but refused when I told her that I had used the atty (I only had one) with a nicotine fluid, just on the off chance that she might get a microgram of the substance into her system and become addicted or sick or something.
All of this tempts me to get off of the nicotine just to shut people up. But that makes me bullish- I don't like being forced into a decision against my will, even if I know that it isn't an unreasonable decision.
