Me? Grumpy? Never!!! NOTHING makes me grumpy!!!! Grrrrrrr!!!!

Just kiddin' folks... yes indeed, deficiencies of either nicotine or caffeine can deprive me of my generally sunny disposition PDQ. Extended periods of time without ample quantities of chocolate have been known to have a similar, if less pronounced, effect. I could feasibly be deprived of both chocolate & caffeine, however, without becoming a menace to society - at least, in certain societies.

Happy (and grumpless) Vaping! :vapor:

I've gone from 31 mg's of nico down to 10 mg's of nico with no 'adverse reactions'....but then I have been trying to quit for some time now (hence, been off nico completely off and on) , so we'll have to see what happens when I get down to no-nic with ecigs. Guess I just have that 'sunny disposition'! lol!

Some have tried 24mg in the morning to get their motor running, vape 18Mg through out the day to quell the madness, and 12Mg after dinner to allow them to sleep well without vivid dreams. You have to find your stride. It's new for you and everyone. You can do it. But just for kiks do this when you feel grumpy. Turn on the radio/CD. What ever song is playing, stand up and clap your hands. If you aren't smiling in a split second, then we can't help.

I've been vaping with 24mg throughout the day for a while now. I don't particularly see the necessity in reducing or removing altogether the nicotine. It's a stimulant, just like caffeine is. Taken reasonably, it is pretty harmless. People think that nicotine is what is harmful in analogs. It's not. Between the 500 otehr compounds added to the tobacco plus the PAHs generated from the incomplete combustion, those are the dangerous things. The nicotine is just what makes 'em deliciously addictive.

But I grow weary of explaining this to people when I vape. They all say "Oh, it's electronic. But...does it still have nicotine?" because they're terrified of getting cancer from possibly inhaling a whisp of the vapor. More often than not I tell them that it does, in an extremely minute amount, explain how harmless nicotine is, etc. Sometimes I lie and tell them it doesn't, when you can tell someone is going to freak out needlessly. I have a friend who was curious to try it, but refused when I told her that I had used the atty (I only had one) with a nicotine fluid, just on the off chance that she might get a microgram of the substance into her system and become addicted or sick or something.

All of this tempts me to get off of the nicotine just to shut people up. But that makes me bullish- I don't like being forced into a decision against my will, even if I know that it isn't an unreasonable decision.

I'm a bit of an odd case - I get grumpy if I have no nicotine, but I only need a small amount. The act of vaping is a major stress relief for me, though. When I got our first cartos in I had ordered 18mg because so many people told me that getting lower amounts wouldn't cut it for someone fresh off of analogs. Less than 2 weeks later I've dropped to 12mg and I'm waiting on some samples of 6mg because even 12 mg is too much for a good vaping session!

That being said - talk to me at your own risk if I haven't had a few sips of coffee and a few puffs off my pv in the morning! I'm fiesty before my ritual morning coffee and vape - and not in the cute way!

I am finding everyone's story varies. I just started Vaping 2 weeks ago. The first juice I ever ordered was a 12mg, and me Vaping ALL day even that would get me jittery at times. Less than 2 weeks later...I am on 0 nicotine and enjoying Vaping for what it is, with no affiliation to cigarettes to me. Kind of helps with not reminding me of that "Awww yeaaah" draw from your cig when you needed your Nic fix. I don't know, everyone is so different it's amazing. Me honestly, I've never had problems with the Nicotine before, but now with Vaping. I can't stand it. 0mg of Nic, a wide selection of every flavour imaginable and an extra couple coffees everyday to balance things out. That's how I roll. hah

Happy vapes! However you may be doing it!

Oh and I apologize didn't really stay on topic, for the side effects of NIcotine withdrawal (grumpy, sweaty, clammy) they was out VERY quickly. VERY quickly. I believe nicotine is one of the fastest drugs to process through your body and detox of. There is a week maybe two hump, but once your over it. Easy as pie! Just for anyone wondering:)

Also, I have a Heart Murmur, that may also be why I feel about the Nicotine the way I do.
