someone mentioned about removing the poly from a carto in another thread leaving a basic atty/coil. I assume this is not possible in a carto tank as the coil would get flooded? I love the idea of a poly-less carto so is something like this possible? a way to use a Carto without poly? I realize you could probably do something like this for dripping but what about for more juice like something in-tank??

I've always destroyed a carto when I removed the contents for inspection. I've heard about people who installed cotton with coils of their own creation. I suppose cartos can be rebuilt using only the tube and threaded end just like the factory does during initial creation of the carto. Polyfill vs cotton isn't such an issue, IMO. Silica concerns me, though. I'm more concerned with inhaling silica dust from tank wicks being a carcinogenic exposure. There are many who are substituting cotton wicks in clearos and tanks for that reason.

Are the coils in those close to the bottom of the carto or close to the top like a regular xl ce2?
