Tomorrow it's going to be 8 weeks since I quit analogs after 17 years. I was up to nearly 1.5 packs a day. Reason for quitting: I simply got fed up with the smell of my clothes AND the fact that the FSC buhquack caused me to burn a nice sized hole into my new pants (ashes dropped as I was driving) besides leaving a taste of paint booth fumes in my mouth.

The smoke shop where I usually picked up my cigs had an e-cigarette on display about 9 weeks ago. I bought it, tried it, hated it and went online to see, if I can find something better and came across this forum. Got the first Joye 510 Mega on April 02, 2010 and had no craving for an analog since then.

To all you avid posters and guys'n'gals that keep this forum going: THANK YOU!!! (Yes, I dared to capitalize that, cause I want it to be heard). If not for you, I would have a gazillion questions. Based on posts on this forum I purchased my adorable Joye 510 Megas, cartomizers (I love those, cause they last forever without refilling) and the reviews for the flavors got me hooked up with some awesome vendors and flavors that won't be sitting in the shelf for too long.

Sorry, no questions here and it's all your fault, cause you already answered them elsewhere to someone else .

That's great!!! Congratulations on being Analogue FREE! Glad you were able to make all the discoveries you needed to help you be successful without ever even needing to post a question. Shows how great this forum really is! Thanks for sharing your story here and I hope that you too would become one of those involved here so that you can also be a part of someone elses answers! Regardless, congrats and thanks again for sharing this here! :D Welcome to ecf.

... and came out the other side a happier (and healthier hopefully) person.

I wasn't so sure about that the first two weeks. Detox was a bummer! I never had acne in my life and ended up with pimples on my nose (Yes, of all places up and down the bridge and one was consistently decorating the very tip of it!!!), dire-potty-desire, and my taste buds figured out what some of my former fave foods REALLY taste like (there's no cheating them no more!), causing a bit of an unnecessary weight loss.

After two weeks it was a lot like someone finally turned on the light. No more coughing, burning eyes or "let's take a break" while hiking and the pimples slowly but surely decided to move on to a better place. Awesome!

I agree that this forum is incredibly informative. I wish I had read more here before I ordered my first kit two weeks ago (could have used a discount code!) But the ECF library with all the introductory summaries helped me decide quickly to get a Joye 510 which I like very much. I've been learning a LOT by reading the material here. The supplier forums are a real bonus, as are all the user reviews and feedback. So thanks to ECF and all the participants here!
