RDA no RDA top cap? What the h***

The way the airflow is set up on a Kennedy, if you drip through the cap, it will et on the coil and drip straight in the air hole. You have to wet it from the sides. It's part of the reason I don't have one.

Yes, but you gotta love the airflow and the cloud chucking abilities of the thing (at least I do)....... I knew before I bought it, from watching the reviews, that it was not dripable from the tip but I didn't care because I was fixated on the massive airflow.

While it's not really in the same category I vaped straight koolada once, had it in a dripper bottle and had a bottle of juice I was adding it to. Dripped the koolada instead of the juice. I've never coughed so hard in my life. Needless to say I've put the koolada aside and haven't touched it sense.

Try a CLT. I have the V2+. The airflow is better and if you build it right the clouds are a lot larger too. It will suck enough air when fully open that you can't use N80 wire. The airflow cools the coils faster than the batteries can heat them. I put a HUGE pair of claptons in it ad it takes 80@W to keep them hot. And you can drip from the tip.

I don't drip that often so havn't managed to do that yet.
I have, however, forgotten to put the bottom fill screw in my Kayfuns on a lot occasions. Everything's fine for a minute or two and then out it comes......
Must be an age thing.

I have a kennedy comp. I dont take the top cap off to redrip. Just drip right down the center. It doesn't leak unless I overdrip it, but I don't overdrip. Works perfectly.

I must not be too coordinated with my Kennedy The top cap on the thing is not very tight and so removing it is super easy and always how I have added juice. I will say though that the Kennedy has a deeper juice well than most RDA's I have seen........ I am however considering getting a Plume Veil RDA as I have been studying up on it and it seems like a real cloud chucking RDA as well as a flavor provider all in one show.

Plume Veil is an older RDA. I do have one of these also. IMO, the Kennedy has better flavor. The Plume Veil also leaks frequently, even with controlled dripping, because there are airholes right at the bottom of the negative posts, essentially in the juice well.

hmmmm ... Yeah I studied the Kennedy for a long time before I bought it and I know I made a good choice when I purchased it. It certainly does me well for sure........ Do you know of any other RDA's that are as good at clouds as the Kennedy, in your opinion? I really haven't studied about the plume veil as I much as I did the Kennedy. But, I certainly will take to heart what you mentioned about the plume veil.

That, and it's not a huge cloud maker. It will make a medium sized, dense cloud though. And the flavor is good. But the juice well is pitifully shallow.

And yeah, I also have to take the cap off to drip on the Kennedy every single time, which is too often! Bit of a PIA if u ask me... As far as forgetting to put the cap back on and burning your lips, happens more often than you think, so you're definitely not alone, LOL!

You can make clouds with anything that has a lot of airflow. Lately, I have been using the Velocity a lot. This rda offers much more airflow control, is incredibly easy to build, and the top cap perfectly locks into place with the airflow centered on the coils, everytime. It comes with a wide bore tip you can drip straight down, it doesn't leak and you will never suck up juice. It is a fantastic design.

LOL! Oh hun, I'm of the opinion that we are ALL mentally challenged at least a little bit of the time! I actually only seem to have 2 functioning neurons myself, but half the time I'm only firing on one!

Oh and I'll second what @DaveSignal said about the Velocity. At first I thought it had only become all the rage because of Rip Trippers, but it seems that as more people started using it and reviewing it, it became clearer to me that the design of the Velocity is currently the best one for both cloud AND flavor chasers because of the massive airflow that can be exploited to the max for clouds, or significantly dialed down for flavor, or anything in between for the perfect balance of yummy clouds

I haven't gotten one yet because I'm saving to get the authentic one, but I can't wait!

Hello fellow vapesters...... Now, I have known all my life that I am indeed a certified "air head" but I must be getting worse in my older years because of something totally stupid that I did this morning. Maybe some of you have done something similar, who knows.

Anyway, I have this bad habit of pressing the fire button on my mod for a second or two before I even attempt to take a hit off of it. I do that in order to get past the ramp up and heating time. I don't want to start inhaling until I actually have some vapor ready for me.

Well, while using my RDA this morning I dripped some nice juice onto the wicking, then hit the fire button for a couple of seconds like I normally do and was going to take a hit off of it. So, I stuck the device up to my lips in order to take a hit only to get a nasty burn on my mouth. I forgot to put the top cap back on after dripping juice! What an idiot I can be sometimes. I jammed the hot coils right into my lips.

Fortunately, I have quick reflexes and did not get burned too bad but it sure did wake me up in short order.

Glad to hear you didn't get burned too bad. Oh and just in case nobody has ever told you this, "you're not supposed to do that".
