Now - this is just a discussion - Right ? ? ?

Okay - I agree, things do take time to get use to and change over to something a little different . . . Which I do not mind at all . . . I even like Open Office and have no problem switching Back-n-Forth, along with Corel WordPerfect (which I started with back in the day) . . . As for Browsers, let me just state I dislike IE for a lot of reason, and until now I still have some problems using the browser - but I changed from the old Netscape to all the others before I settled on using IE most of the time (I do use "Safari" when I am on my friends apple stuff - no problems there of course - BUT I DO NOT LIKE APPLES and I am not buying such a propriatory product line). . . I understand it takes a learning curve to get use to something and also that it might take some time . . . BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS ! ! ! AND, when the forum changed - whatever they changed - I have had nothing but problems no matter what IE I use or what OS be it XP home/Pro, Vista, or Windows 7 (I happen to have WIndos XP Pro w/ Update 3 and now have a Tablet and still have problems with stuff here) . . .

AND - As I've mentioned before in this thread, I tried FF - and Chrome - and now Opera . . . I do not like them, nor what I have to go though to get them up and running just for me to be on ECF and still be able to do what I did before the change over. . . BTW, I took the time to learn how to do stuff here already and I am still trying to learn more about "ecig" and vaping so I can become a "Full-time" Vapor . . . and now it would be better for me to relearn everything again just so I can post stuff like I use to before the change over . . .

On a more personal note, and not that it should matter, however - I am not a typist (peck & paw person), I am not a speller nor grammarian (I have a form of Dyslexia and have to reread and separate sentences so I can correct them before I post) - it takes me almost doule the amount of time some of you take to write even the simplist of post so people are not offend by my directness (that is one of the reason's I started using smilies) and as for them - Well lets just say to find the right ones to use in the right situations and at the right time - OH GESS ! ! ! !

So can I ask - WHY, with all the expertise and everyone that knows so much more than I about programing, Operating systems, Computer langue, Software, etc etc etc . . . instead of trying to get people to switch . . . Why cannot someone fix the problems with this interface (I do not know right now what else to call it) . . .

BTW: I even noticed the other day in the Attachment Mangament - that all the old Smiley are now left there - none are removed and it refuses to let my upload anything saying that I have exceeded the limits . . .

My appologies if this seemed to be a rant or that I was standing on a soap-box . . . But seriously, instead of trying to push me to use something else . . . Can this not be fixed - and if it cannot be fix just tell me that and I will leave it alone and move on from this discussion . . .

look the problem, as roly was saying, is ie is so far behind that we would be taking 6 steps back, and it'd make it not function for every other browser.

I can't see it being fixed for ie. Theres just too many negatives to even start.

That's a Shame, especially since "rolygate" said he would pass on the information and have it looked into and fixed . . .

OH WELL - Thanks anyway . . .

Okay - Now I know - Moving ON ! ! !

What I should have said is there are no guarantees on if it can be fixed or not. It could be simple, it could be very complex. Roly will pass it on and we will see what the coders say.

However, we have given you options on how to easily resolve this issue, it's up to you whether you want to be behind the times or persist through the barrier of "I don't like it".
