I have to agree with DaveOno, you can't straddle the fence and it not effect things. Juices won't taste right and even analogs will taste diminished. You have to commit to one or the other. I think the only exception to this is a possible morning cig. I did that for awhile, it was the hardest to let go of.

As wheezal would say...BOOSH (or something to that effect). Ya, that would do it I suppose. Smoking really messes up EVERYTHING. Your sense of smell, taste...ugh.

Kanakala, I'm having the same situation with my husband. He's still smoking, while I am exclusively vaping. He gets frustrated because I'm really enjoying the flavors, and throat hit etc, and he isn't. Please enciurage your husband to vape more and smoke less. :)

I was quite the opposite... it was the before bed cig that really killed me the first few days, but I just chain vape 5-10 good puffs and I'm good to go, to bed that is ;)

That's so funny, isn't your husband the one with all the mods and stuff? Is he just not getting enough out of the vaping or is it more mind over matter? For me it's mostly in my mind and anxiety about quitting, because last time I quit (cold turkey, not vaping) I lasted two days and had an anxiety attack that was off the charts

Yeah, that's the one always! He likes toys and tinkering, but when it actually comes down to vaping...i don't know what it is. He had a bad reaction to some strawberry from dekang, (the only thing they sell at this POC smoke shop we have locally) and ever since that happened, he can't get with vaping.

But being the supportive wife that I am, every time he gets a toy...I get one too! er..um, for moral support and all.....

I find myself 'wanting' a cigarette still, but not needing one anymore.

The hardest one to quit for me was the one I'd have with my coffee.

The first thing in morning cig was the hardest for me also. I'd vape 24 mg juice in the early morning then switch to 18. Still have some 24 hanging around for those just in case times...

I said this a few days ago, the morning cig wasn't the problem for me. I always had a smoke right before I killed the lights to lay down, and I just couldn't fall asleep without it. Now I just take like 5big puffs and I am alright to lie down for the night. My brother, who I let use one batt and a tank, his biggest trouble is the after meal cig, but I don't have that because I would wait 20-30 minutes after I ate before I'd smoke.

The biggest thing about vaping for me is that I can take as many puffs as I want and set it down. I don't have to commit to smoking the whole thing or half of it (which smoking halfies was sooo gross). I find myself walking past it and taking one puff, and keep on walking, wheras I would have sat there and smoked a whole or half a cig.

I still haven't gotten used to the taste of coffee + vape

Did you smoke menthol, or non menthol? I was a menthol smoker, so I had to have a menthol flavor in the morning on my G6, with a Halo LR carto. The warm feeling of the LR, vapor and TH, tricked my brain into thinking I was having a cigarette. Now, I like my tobacco flavors more.

Vaping is definitely a journey tho....enjoy the ride.

I smoked newports. The menthol sampler wasn't that satisfying (I'm still working on finishing it); however, I really enjoy Kringle's and HX3. The other menthols just don't go well with my morning coffee. I'm enjoying the tobacco sampler, even with my coffee (relative to the menthol flavors).

Tribeca and Prime are pretty good. Turkish is pretty good too; haven't tried the Torque, Longhorn, or Apple that came in the sampler yet.

There used to be a topic here.

Throat hit.

Kanakala, If your hubby is cutting back from smoking, there might be some reactions, changes in taste and perception of TH. It might be temporary. It's been 2 days.

Is he taking lung hits? or did he change to mouth first?

Let's give it a coupla more days.
