Welcome to ECF and congrats on quitting. I hope you'll decide to stay if that is what you wish, but I would think so much vaping talk could give you the itch?

I want to say that I don't think anyone would consider you rude or anything, I think that at least some of us just don't understand your point of view on vaping. I myself consider e-cigs to be relatively safe, which is why I picked them up after I quit smoking. I have many issues that cause me all sorts of ridiculous stress and anxiety, and even though I didn't crave cigarettes enough to buy and smoke them, I thought about having a smoke pretty much all the time. I'm finding that vaping helps me, whether it is the nicotine or the distraction, and I haven't experienced any negative issues.

Whatever you decide, good luck! If you decide to stay quit, don't hesitate to come back if you end up having a weak moment and have a smoke or anything like that. Habits are hard to break and don't beat yourself up if you slip back into either of them. I think it's safe to say we're all here to help if you need it, so if for whatever reason you decided to vape again whether for fun or because cigarette cravings are back, remember that you can come here for advice.

Well, to be honest you have to decide what you want to do. I used a stop smoking site for support when I quit nicotine through the patch system. It was tough, and I wasn't aware of all the variables. I enjoy the rituals of it all and to be honest, I don't see my lifestyle choice changing now I've found it. You could vape low nic for a while and wean off... or even no nic as has been said already, for the fixations.
Hi-Thank you for your reply and some very solid suggestions. Paul
