No vapor when I exhale....doing something wrong?

Ok, I just got the Classic pen style and I have a few questions. Firstly, the cartridge seems very wet. It leaked out of the mouthpiece at first. Is that common?

Second, I watched the tutorial on here, but when I take a quick first puff, there is vapor, but when I take a bigger draw into my mouth and then into my lungs, there is no vapor exhale. Am I doing something wrong?

Full battery. I just charged it.

Take a few quick, primer puffs, then a loooong slow inhale into your mouth, then down into your lungs.
This lets the atty get nice and hot to do its work.

If you pull to hard and too fast, you suck the liquid out of the cart. >blech!<

Also, if you hold the vapor in your lungs for a good, long while, you won't see much vapor when you exhale - putting yourself into 'stealth mode' so to speak.

Just remember, their is a learning curve with these, don't get discourged and you'll be fine..

That must be the reason I'm hearing the liquid bubbling. I'm going to keep at it. I ordered 36 mg menthol and I think it might be too strong. I switched to the non-menthol that came with it, and will keep trying with that one.

Are you dripping or topping off your carts with liquid?
The reason I ask is that you might have flooded your atty - hearing liquid gurgle is a good indicator, but if its producing good vapor - it's ok.

These things are notoriously fickle - too much liquid, don't wanna work, not enough fluid, also don't wanna work. Once you figure out the different signals your PV is giving you, you'll be fine....

If you think you've flooded it, take the cart off the atty, take the atty off the battery.... put a kleenex or paper towel up to the cart end of the atty, and blow through the battery end - this is going to blow all the liquid in the atomizer cup out onto the kleenex. Then, top off your atty with 2 drops of liquid, put it all back together, and continue vaping...

Coughing:
The vapor is quite a bit drier than analog smoke - it took me a good week, week & 1/2 to get used to the drier vapor...especially in the am.

I'd take a couple of puffs, and let the vapor dribble out of my mouth first thing in the morning, then, when I was ready to do an inhale, I'd fill my mouth, let some of it dribble out, then inhale the remains with extra air to "dilute" the vapor. After a couple of hits like this, you should be desensitized enough to inhale without coughing like a first-timer behind the school gym.

I am not dripping. I put the cartridge in and it leaked from the start. I took it out, wiped it off and put it back. I had liquid all over the mouthpiece. Maybe there was too much liquid in it? When I took it out, the liquid was all over the outside of the cart, and I wiped that off too.

Maybe I should try again?

The top of the battery was wet. There was liquid in the atomizer. I've got liquid all over my hands. I took it apart just now. The second cart I put it has liquid on the outside of the cart too.

Try taking a pair of tweezers and shove the cart filler down into the cart. You should create a pool of liquid on top of the filler material by doing that..... now pull the filler back up to level with the hard plastic of the cart - this sould "redistribute" the liquid in the cart through the cart core, and keep it from leaking so much...

If you don't have tweezers, use a paper clip - unbent - or a toothpick.

Make sure you clean as much of the liquid off the contacts between the battery and the atomizer.

time for me to start my commute home - stick with it - I'll check your thread when I get home!

Took the toothpick, like you said and found out there was a little plastic piece in the cart that shouldn't be there. I took that out, wiped everything down and put it back together.

I took a long slow hit and wow..that 36 mg menthol is strong! I ordered liquid from somewhere else, and it's not in yet. I hope I ordered something less than 36 mg!
