No vapor....

So I just got a new ego maniac kit from Goodprophets.com and it came with a 510 to 901 converter and a carto. So I figure what the hell, lets try a carto for the first time. So I fill it with 18mg health pear PG using the method where you fill the "condom" halfway and press the carto into the juice. I get it filled and everything seems to have gone the way it was supposed to. I screw it onto the ego and attempt to vape, well when I go to take a drag, I get ok flavor and a bit of a TH, but when I exhale, only a little poof of vapor comes out. I figured since there was so much that could go wrong, maybe I should try a method I know, so I try direct dripping and the same exact thing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Ok, direct dripping is proving to be much more successful. Still having problems with the carto

Is the carto overfilled? Try blowing out a bit ok juice and try it again

Two things....I've heard those eGo cartos hold a goodly amount of juice, roughly 2 mL. Are you using the condom fill method multiple times? If not, the TH you feel could be filler burning.

Also, if you do puff-puff-puff sort of thing without inhaling, are you getting vapor then, or not really?

You may have to prime the atty with a few drops of liquid to help it wick better.

I hear ya on this issue! This is weird. I am new to refilling my 510. I use the condom method. I usually try to take an immediate puff(s) but get just air like it's not working at all. So, I set it down and come back to it, maybe after 30 minutes and it makes a sound and gets going no problem. I'm not sure the mystery of this.

So I think you guys may have been right about the overfilling, my fiancee was the one that filled the carto and she said when she filled it "juice ROCKETED out of the top."

Did they not send you the filling tool? I also ordered that kit (got it thursday). I have never tried the cartos, they also have a video link on their site on how to fill them.

I tried to fill mine with 2ml and think .5ml came out the battery end (using a syringe). I refilled on Saturday and only put in an addtional 1ml, it is still going tonight! Definately like the cartos. I also got the eGo atty's so will have to try them next.
