They sent me a faulty PPC and basically told me they all were "broken" due to a design flaw, and that’s not their fault. Someone please explain to me that if I buy a car, it randomly catches fire, and then the car company tells me it’s a design flaw they were all made like that, how is it not their fault? If it was not sold with a warning that it was flawed, how is it the customers fault?
.

What problems did you have with the pcc? Mine stopped working fairly quick, but I just consider it a giant paper weight at this point. I wouldn't suggest buying a 510 pcc unless you are using it VERY lightly.

Otherwise, I've bought the 510 battery and atomizer pack, and have been pretty happy with them (although they do charge weird... The singles that I've purchased from them don't cause the charger to blink green and red after a while, but the multipack batteries do?). But the batteries and atomizers seem to be working fine. I'm sure like any company, they have bad and good days.

But you're right, if a faulty charger from TW fried all the batteries, they should replace the entire order. I would harass them a little bit more about the situation, possibly see if you can talk to a supervisor.

i have had no issues with my chargers or batteries. its very unfortuneate for you but the very discounted price makes $8.00 makes replacement difficult. other companies are charging $20.00 a battery or $15.00. at 8.00 if you have a problem with one...another 8.00 is still cheaper. your battery thing seems to be an isolated incident. also the problem may not have been with the charger....it could have been with the outlet you plugged it into. you said you were on vacation so you could possibly been using a bad outlet.
anyways i love totaly wicked and the manual batteries and the titan 510.........have smoked 4 other brands of ecigs and the titan is by far the best ecig to date....so good i will not be looking for another.

i have said this before but we test hundred of identical atomizers to those jason sells.. in fact our last 400 came from jason..

finding a DOA is very rare.. in fact almost none existent.. soooo i have to wonder about some folks finding three out of five DOA ones..

we do not test them on old well worn battery connections tho.. only new ones.. i have to think the problem isnt simply DOA atomizers.. perhaps its some of the old semi worn out batteries folks who find unbelievable to me 3 out of 5 DOA ones use to test them..

in fact 3 out of 5 DOA is an impossibility.. something else has to be at work here..

trog

ps... if new atomizers were only sold with new batteries the DOA rate would be a almost zero for the atomizers.. screwing them on the end of old junky batteries is the problem here.. perhaps not always but mostly.. it also accounts for the odd customers getting the super high claimed DOA rate..

we test all RN4075 and BE112 atomizers we ship and throw DOA ones.. one in hundreds gets thrown.. when tested with new clean battery connections the DOA rate is so near zero as to be zero..

You know, I'm sorry, but that's bulls***.
3 out of 5 DOA's is certainly possible when it comes to batteries, apparently, because it happened to me. I only had ONE DOA atomizer, however the rest died shortly thereafter at the hands of one of your horrid batteries.

When I opened my box of batteries they were all lighting up by themselves in the box. 2 of the 3 "DOA's" wouldn't test for voltage, I'm talking 0 on the voltage meter, the other one just didn't light up at all. The other 2 "working" (but not really) batteries died mid-vape with TW atomizers attached to it.

The atomizers were also never used at high voltage, and all of them quit on me mid-vape within a few days of having them also.

I didn't use ANY of the parts with non-TW parts because I was concerned about cross compatibility with the *True* SLB 901's, so there goes that theory. I only used "new" TW batt's with "new" TW attys.

In several months of vaping, I have lost ONE *True* 901 atomizer.
I lost 5 of TW's.

I have nothing to gain from lying, I wanted to send back the DOA's and have TW check them out and they apparently refused. I'm not the only one on here who gets OUTRIGHT IGNORED by TW. I wouldn't be here flaming them if they would have even acknowledged me.

TW's customer service is non-existent, their juice is ridiculously overpriced, and I'm convinced that they're making a killing just by ignoring people when they have problems with their products.
Not to mention the fact that it took them nearly a week to ship my order of garbage-bound over-packaged parts.

I even loved the parts that weren't DOA at first, until the batteries started firing up by themselves, reaching their cutoff, and then fired up again immediately after, actually frying the TW atomizerz attached to them... And once I unfortunately didn't even notice until I felt my thigh burning from the searing hot atty in my pocket. I then unscrewed the battery and left it in a metal tool box in the bathroom until it died for fear that something might go REALLY wrong. (i.e. "BOOM!")
The others were thankfully never attached to attys when I watched them kill themselves on my desk by firing up over and over and over, blinking green until they no longer worked.

Anyone who says any different can kiss my a** because I know what happened to me. I'm trying to save everyone else from going through similar trouble, maybe I'm one of very few, but it sure as hell doesn't seem like it.

Once again, if I wasn't COMPLETELY IGNORED, I would not have even considered bringing this to the forums.

Totally Worthless.

a simple choice.. batteries can be sold at one price with a warranty or they can be sold at a lesser price without a warranty.. you take your choice and buy which one you choose..

some of the people in this thread seem to give the impression they would expect a warranty even if the items came free..

and the suggestion that dud parts are sorted out for five packs really is rubbish.. the no warranty packs should work out much cheaper simply because a whole lot of handling.. emailing and hassle has been removed from the buying and selling process..

trog

ps... and some are quite clearly just trolling.. like that sneaky looking tiger above this post... he he he

I purchased one Mega battery Nov '09 and a five pack of atties the begging of Dec '09 I have been using I have been using the first two atties since. I use one for a week and clean in mouth wash and alternate with the other for a week. They work like champs. I leap frog my mega with my small 510's. The mega last most of the day. I vape constantly and never have had any problems with TW. I even like their liquids.
