Nah, its not April Fool day like one of PBusardo's videos. I had this idea a few days ago and I have been thinking of a no-wick, no-wire Cartomizer/atomizer. The pic is self-explanatory.

What do you guys think? Can anything of this type be worked out? Thank you for your input!

I can see that...but you have a problem. If air can get into the juice area...any air at all...it will continue to leak onto your steel mesh. Even if you completly close it off, until a vacuum is formed in the tank, juice will drip flooding the atomizer. Now..if you could put a valve on the drip hole that would open to the negative pressure from an inhale, but close against the weight of the juice...that would work!

Also, unless you created some way to replace the mesh, this is a throw-away atty. Most newbies wouldn't care, but old vapers tend to rebuild their equipment to save money.

This already exists, it's a 510 atty with a cartridge.

interesting thought, but to create the vapor we all adore you need 3 things to occur.
1. a heat source
2. an air flow across the heating element and contact point to the juice
3. contact zone of heat and e-juice

With the combination of all 3 we get vapor. The e-juice as in its own accord, doesnt like to vaporize by its self. Heat and juice together does create some vapor, but with the addition of an airflow, we see impressive amounts of vapor being produced as compared to just heating juice by its self.
Increase the amount of heated surface of the juice and add airflow and poof, big puffy clouds of vapor.

Thank you for the input. I'm not sure if such an idea has already been worked out.

Think about this as a dripping atomizer. In a RDA, you drip juice in it but "can't invert it" if there's a little extra juice .. will lead to juice coming out. The only thing different about my idea (or maybe it is no longer my idea because similar ideas have been worked out. but seriously, i didn't know) is that the tank carries the juice instead of you carrying a juice bottle with you.

Leaking: About the leaking disaster, you allow the air to flow to the juice chamber but while carrying it with you, you have to make sure to close the air vent so that no leaking disasters happen.

Ignition: The steel mesh I'm talking about in the ignition chamber has to be worked out. Somewhat like the 306 atomizer vapero mentioned in #5 post.

Cleaning/Reusability: The atomizer can be designed in a way to have threads just near the two hole vents near the bottom so that the whole thing can be unscrewed exposing the steel mesh. Just put it under the water jet for it to clean.

Bunnykiller, I think this type of atomizer will have all the 3 points you've mentioned. But I'm more concerned about what aalwani mentioned #3 post.

From what it looks like with the crappy graphic I designed, it is a looooong atomizer. But the size can be worked out to make it much smaller, just like a Protank Mini.

All of the bottom coil atomizers/cartomizers/RBA do mute the flavor a little and cool the vapor too, but they work!

There is no way to heat the juice if you don't have some kind of coil. As for the wicking, you don't necessarily need one. You will only get maybe 1 small pull on it from whatever you use as a heat source. Even the Ego's have a coil in them to heat the liquid, but its fed along your same idea...
