I do the same. I keep a small bag of flavored carts that I don't like (yes, very generous of me... lol) and hand those out before I pass the PV. :)

I keep the blank tips that come with different 901's and 510's and stash those for sharing.............Nobody uses my DT but me. It makes things a lot easier to just keep a few in my purse/pocket.

I disagree, all but one who I let try my PV has converted to vaping.

You are having better luck than I am. I've handed out Riva kits to friends an family members along with juice, atomizers and cartomizers.... given lessons, followed up for questions and everything.

After trying with maybe 7 people I have converted exactly ZERO :(

My brother can't even keep his cell phone charged !! I knew there was no way he could keep batts charged and cartos filled..... but I tried .... all I can do. They have to want to help themselves for it to work.

I'll keep trying but it seems like 24 out of 25 smokers (or more) are just to dam lazy to put forth the effort.

I absolutely LOVE handing mine over for someone to try. I keep an extra mouth piece in a ziplock in my purse just for that reason. The more people I can convert, the better. But I understand about the germs, and it seems like everything in the world is circulating right now. Sharing is probably not the best thing to do.

What I eventually want to do is buy a completely separate PV just for that reason, just so I can keep a "tobacco" flavor in it for people who are smokers. I handed my atomic cyanide-laden PV over to someone and they gagged, and said "why would I want to smoke cinnamon"? It's hard explaining to them how you lose the taste for it after a while.

I certainly applaud your efforts Big Hitter! Please do not think you've failed in any respect...you have planted the seed...now sit back and watch it grow! It may take a while, but once that seed has been planted, it never leaves the subconscious mind!

...

I only know one person who tried to quit smoking with a PV. In fact, he bought the Npro few days before I did. He's back on analogs now. He could not keep up with charging the tiny 180Mah Battery all the time.

I hit the battery problems too. Being a techie, I google'd and found this website. Moved from the Npro to Ego with 510s, now vaping from Ego-T... and some more stuff is on the way here.

I received my Ego-T yesterday so, all the people that tried my PV before did it with the Npro or the 510 carts (regular, not LR). This means they either got a tiny puff with barely any vapor (Npro), or experienced either a flooded atty or a dry atty (510)... maybe even got some e-liquid in their mouths. Not blaming the equipment tho, I'm a noob at this. But if they had tried one of the glorious clouds of vapor coming out Ego-T ATM...

In the near future I'll be getting bigger batteries, probably a mod... and backups. I guess I'm gonna carry around a Communal VP (Ego-T most likely), and 2 tanks with regular tobacco and menthol. Because sharing saliva is just not my thing.

True, true, true...it's life saving...but I don't want to 'catch' something 'fatal' in the process either! Soaking in peroxide is my first choice, IF, and ONLY IF, I am using any of my 510 or eGo hardware!

This is why I still have my first 7-Eleven NJoy...I have extra carts that I'll never use (menthol and regular), and they can vape till their heart's content, and then I can just throw the cart out!

Disposable Soft Sani Tips 5 pack - My Freedom Smokes
Just carry a few of these around....MUCH cheaper toss:)

Excellent find keelagirl!

I'm not aware of anything you can catch from spit that will kill you.
Nothing!
"That imo is an old wives tale"
I bring extra drip tips for just that purpose or an alcohol wipe.
I guess I'm just not a germaphobe.

I know of some illnesses you can EASILY acquire by trading spit which will temporarily make you WISH you could die. A severe case of the Flu, in fact, could be fatal ... many people die from the flu every year. Even if not, it is something I would go out of my way to avoid. The person giving you the gift very frequently isn't yet exhibiting ANY symptoms.

No germophobia involved, just realism.

Every time I pull my mod out at work I have 4 or 5 co workers that want to try it. I just pull off my drip tip and hand it over. They all take turns sucking on the carto and swaping spit. Then I just do a quick wipedown and throw my drip tip back on. Problem solved!!!! Oh, and it takes all of half a second to do........

When you hand it to someone, just tell them you spent the past evening throwing up every half hour, and you feel like you may be coming down with the flu.

And if they still look like they want to stick it in their mouth, tell them you had it in your hand in the bathroom, and may have scratched an itch with it.

That said, I've yet to have anyone even pick one up, much less put it in their mouth.
