is there any way to safely clean the contacts on the board on the board in the bottom of the noisy cricket. i think my contacts are dirty because it doesnt conenct in series but works just fine on the parallel side. thanks in advance!!

Think there is a switch on the mod to change from Series to Parallel, check your operators manual that came with the mod, and in all honesty parallel is the safer alternative, IMO. Cleaning the contacts, get some cotton swabs (q-tips) which should allow you to reach down in the battery cylinders to clean the contacts there.
