I live in a climate that's cold most of the year. We only get about 2 months of warm to hot weather. It's not fun putting a freezing cold metal thing in your hands, and even less fun to put it between your lips. Does anyone make rubber or hard leather battery cases and drip tips? I've found photos of some nice leather holsters online, of course, but none of have links of where to get them. So where do you get them?

Drip tips you can find in all kinds of materials. Non-metal would be wood, pyrex glass, delrin, I'd stay away from the cheaper plastics though.
As for mods... There's the woodvil, which is a wooden REO bottom feed mod. There's also the one made by pdib, but I forget what he calls it, also carved wood. Those are both limited run. I know there's a plastic Bolt mechanical mod, and there are probably at least a few others.

The mod has to be made of a conductive material in order to be a mechanical So metal it is if you want a mechanical.
There are lots of plastic or wood electrical mods, but wires and a switch become a minimal requirement.

Oh and I recommend Delrin drip tips. They are soft and never get too hot or too cold.

I haven’t used a J-Wrap but might those help, at least a bit? Leather would be better though no doubt but if using a holster you gotta take it out sometime.

Check etsey for wraps. Just type in e-cigarette. It would probably be easier to go with a more common mod, like a nemesis.
It would definitely be cool to build your own wooden mech mod. I've seen some that people have made and they look so awesome. I would but I don't know anything at all about soldering and I'm really not trying to pipebomb myself.

I love CA, I live in a part that actually has weather, but even that only ranges from about 60-110 degrees, so I don't have to worry about freezing my lips to a drip tip

i founfd a few sights that show you hot o make whats called a box mod they are plastic and the tip is plstic as well
