ok i got about 15-20 tanks.clearos in the mail today for review to try out. now innokin iclear 30 i got 2 of them one works and one dont its giving me the non when i put it on. Why would this be? its happening too other tanks aswell, i cant even get a evod tank to register either it just says NON when i put on and check ohms.

my device is innokin itaste vv vw 3.0

now this hasnt happen until today does anyone have advice im fairly new to the game. is the center pin adjustable? the one that makes connections with the battery. IS it my device? i dont see how if i have genuine authentic iclear 30 and one works and the other dont?

I also have heard that you can push up lightly the center circle around your battery? is this true?

Thanks in advance.

Before you pull the pin up on an APV, always make sure you try to pull the pin down on the clearo. It's less risk. Certain clearo's have recessed heads relative to the base. Aspire heads usually need to be adjusted. IClear 30's typically come with the heads unscrewed. Always look at the clearo before the device.

On the iClear 30's, you have to make sure the head is screwed all the way into the base. They typically come shipped unscrewed.

It is a good practice on any new clearo to make sure the changeable head is screwed into the base firmly. Also to check it when you refill the tank. Taking the clearo apart to fill it can loosen the head and as stated earlier many arrive from the factory not screwed in well.

There's a good video on youtube for how to pull the post on the tank/carto:

It's much safer to mess with the post on the tank/carto than to mess with the center pin on your mod. Worst case you mess up and lose a tank. Screwing up a mod is much worse.

Both my SID and my MVP have the center pins pushed in a little. Wasn't very careful at the beginning and probably overtightened a few tanks. If I pull the post, I can get most things to work on the MVP. The SID is kind of screwed at this point. Might have to try the o-ring fix for the center pin one of these days.

This is when I really appreciate my SVD which has the floating center pin. Everything I put on it has made contact so far.

I'm at the point where I'm never going to buy another mod that doesn't have a floating/adjustable center pin.
