I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I woke up in pain every morning. Some days were so severe, it felt like my bones were fractured. This morning I woke up pain free, I can't remember the last time I felt this good first thing in the morning. I still took my pain killer, out of habit, I hope it won't be another hard habit to break. I've gone off them before, I didn't have any withdrawal because I'm on a low dose and I never take more than 2 a day, usually only 1. I'm going to try without pain killer tomorrow.

Fibromyalgia is supposedly caused by overactive nerves, but I always felt the pain in my bones, I never told the doc I smoked. I can't say it's totally related to smoking since I don't know how many people diagnosed with fibromyalgia smoke. But I can say that not smoking and vaping has made the pain less severe. I've quit smoking before and the symptoms never went away.

Have other people with non related smoking issues felt better with vaping?

I too hope you have more pain free days ahead of you vapi :) Maybe it's just coincidence but you know with all the wonders modern science and medicine there is still so much we do not know about many many things. Look at all the side effects some meds have on only some people for example. Could it be that some of the chemicals in the tobacco products we consume just might have an affect on some but not others? I think it's plausible for sure.

The pain seems to be easing up. I also had a sharp pain in my hip which kept me from sleeping on my side, the other night I had to sleep on a hard floor at my dad's house because the electricity was out at my house and I slept on my side without any pain. I'm waking up feeling stiff, but not all over pain. My feet are the only part I feel pain in now. It's definitely an improvement, taking my pain pill (tramadol) wasn't the first thing I reached for this morning and it usually is. I still took it because I know it's going to make me feel good 20 minutes later. I'll try tomorrow taking it later if my feet don't feel better after an hour. But I have also noticed my feet tingling, almost burning from the circulation when I lay down at night. It doesn't hurt, I wonder if it's just my circulation getting better? Is that normal for people after they quit smoking, tingling feet?
