I’m just getting into ehookah/vape
and i want to know…

Can I use one battery unit with cartomizers atomizers and clearomizers?

What is the best way to use multiple flavors of juice while still being able to pass it around without have to re-juice.

Basically I’m a non smoker tryna find something with delicious flavors to puff on in both nicotine and non-nicotine flavors. The pieces of a vape are…. battery, element, and mouthpiece? maybe? If you can name the anatomy of a vape like a boss please enlighten me.
I’m torn over weather I want a big meaty round unit or a highlighter sized contraption. I figured if I went with the smaller option I could possibly get like 2 batteries and 4 cartomizers. One of my main concerns is switching flavors as I would want to shuffle through flavors and nicotine strengths. After seeing an atomizer that seemed to be the fix for easy switching but what about when you wanna go somewhere all day and not be refilling like a douche with the little bottle out in public with no tables etc.

With so many buildable and modable options where do I start if I want to build my own?

Any mods that are of necessity?
I’m not really sure what an OHM reader does but it was the most wanted mod in 2013

Are the eCigs that literally look like cigs any good? I found a kit with 3 batteries 5 cartridges and the works for 150 wondering if I should go for it.

I’ve been checking out mountbakervapor’s flavors and I’m bout to try them out for my flavors…

If i buy like 5 flavors I’m tryna balance it out

1. Tobacco
2. Fruit
3. Drink
4. Minty
5. w/e

I’ll take your suggestions.

Any other help knowledge or ideas would be appreciated

Lastly I’m tryna spend 100-150ish on my device and about 25 on JUICE so try to stay in that price range.

Honestly, I'd start with a simple, inexpensive rebuildable dripping atomizer to see if you actually enjoy doing it.

I have no personal experience with that kit, but I did have a friend that used it last year, and I wasn't impressed. I think you could do better for a little less money. And keep in mind that you're not going to get long battery life out of those units (Long compared to vape time on something with a bigger battery, of course).

The only cig-a-like kit I'd suggest is the Halo, but I'm sure others can chime in about their experiences.

Yes

For you, starting off, I would recommend an eGo Twist or two (for the battery) and about 5-10 Kanger MT3's or something similar (clearomizers).

I'll cover that later

Slow down, Hombre!

 An oHm reader checks the resistance of a coil. Not something you need to worry about until or unless you get into rebuildable attys.

Okay. I'll start by saying that if you are a non-smoker (and I'll assume, non-nicotine user as well) you shouldn't purchase anything other than 0 nic juices. If you have friends that smoke, let them buy thier own juices. If they can afford cigs, they can afford juice.

The cig-a-like sets are garbage. If you really want to give them a try, drop $8-9 on a disposable e-cig and use it till it dies. eGo batteries are not much better, but they will at least last you for 6-12 months, so I recommend that you start with an eGo battery (don't forget to buy a charger) and a clearomizer. I recommend Kanger Evod or MT3 (and buy replacement coils for them). Coils will burn out every 3-5 days, but you might get a couple weeks out of them...depends on how much they are used and what voltage you vape at.

For that one juice that you want to vape all day, but don't want to mess around with the bottle, the Kanger ProTank V2 (you'll need to buy extra coils for this too).

Juice:
Try before you buy if you can...
If you can't, buy a
Tobacco
Menthol
Dessert
Fruit
and Drink

Stay away from mall kiosks. They usually sell garbage and they charge 100% more than you can get it elsewhere. If you really get into vaping and want to upgrade, come back and we'll talk again. :D

Yo first off thanks a million for such a comprehensive answer! I've been boggled by ecigs like no other...

I'm just a stoner and getting a vape to cheif would def be fun cuz I just like to smoke stuff. I get a daily dose of nicotine from blunt wraps but not much else. I just hit my friends ecigs cuz they taste bomb.

wut about this unit here... it's variable voltage and def my style (looks like a robot and is reaaalll solid)
I found it as low as $75 though it sells on most sites for 120. It comes with one clearomizer (3ml tank might not need an extra) and I found the batteries online (4pack w/charger for $15)

Found the protank 3 for like 20 bucks but where do I get the coils? And will it work with the vape I suggested earlier.

Kanger Protank 3 Pro Tank Glassomizer Dual Coil

But since it comes with a clearomizer with a high capacity, what heating unit could I use to switch flavors every few puffs? I'd imagine my two main ways of use will be "sampling flavors at my desk" or "cheifing out and about with friends".

Aight aight. The internet has suggest Mt. Baker Vapor I'll look around on there

I gotcha haha I'm taking my search to the internet. Thanks again for the help!

The iTaste's case is not metal, but plastic. It's a decent mod.

The ProTank V3 is fairly new. It has dual coils. The V2 is a single coil Atty, and both V1 and V2 use the same coils. The V3 is not compatible with V2.

I used these to try and stop smoking last year. After 26 years of the 'real thing' I REALLY don't advise using these if you are new to the Vape world. A lot of people confuse actual vaping to the ready-made ecig & it's completely different. I use a cTwist with the Kanger 2 and have am cig free am happy to say.. I am a Banana Nut Bread Freak, but that's just me!!!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Keep it simple at first. I started with two EVODS, easy to fill, maintain and use. Later I up the batteries to EGO c twist and went to Kanger Pro Tanks which are easy to fill and work on. Now I've still got two of the Twists with Pro Tanks, ITaste MVP 2, ProVari with Iclear 30, 2 pro tanks and a mini Pro Tank. I keep juice in three or four at a time. Stay away from the nicotine thats dumb (I think). You can get the throat hit by adjusting your PG/VG and your watts.

I agree with imdeskman. Start with an eGo kit (about $40) and 0mg. juice. Consider a brick and mortar store if ones available for your first purchase so they can help with emergencies. This site is the only "internet" you will need to find reliable answers to all your vaping questions. Your real problem is finding the right flavor juice, but you dont know that yet.
