hi all, new to the forum. after reading a few threads on here last weekend i ordered the intellicig evo trial pack. Got it on Wednesday and have been trialling it (still smoking normal cigs though, just swapping a few here and there for an e-smoke).

i was pretty impressed with how good the evo was at first, but im completely new to this and am not sure what are realistic expectations. I found that the first few smokes with a new catridge are good, but you soon start to lose the "throat hit" and the amount of smoke produced drops quite a lot... its like sucking on a real one that's not lit.

is this normal? should i expect to be changing carts about every 2 - 3 smokes to keep the throat hit and smoke amount decent?

Thanks in advance - Lee

Another thing that you can drop into your cart is glycerine. This has two advantages: it increases the amount of vapour you get from your cart and it's dirt cheap! Any good pharmacy has it - people take it for sore throats. Don't bin your carts! As Lane says you can top up with liquid and keep them going for a while, as well as experiment with different flavours. There's lots of info about carts, topping-up etc on this site. A good place to start is Igetcha's video. Enjoy your Evo - it's a great e-cig!

BigSid,

I'm still waiting on my EVO and was wondering how long it took for you to get yours. Especially if we live in the same country and ordered from the same site. Hope your enjoying yours.

Thanks!

thanks for the quick replies. I did wonder if the evo carts could be refilled or not... having disected one yesterday to see whats going on inside made me think they could be as they seem to just contain a plug of nylon fibre mesh (thats the best way i can describe it).

Having looked at them, I'm guessing the juice can evaporate over time too as they're not exactly sealed once you've put them onto the e-cig right? Maybe I'm not smoking it regularly enough to get the most number of decent smokes out of the cart.

So does refilling with your own juice work out cheaper than buying new carts? I actually really like the Evo carts regular tobacco flavour - does anyone know if the raw juice they use is available anywhere?

Thanks
