noob asking for help

hi first of all i would like to say thank for having me here.

my problem: i have a coolfire 4 and all of a sudden its started just flashing 4.0v every time i press the fire button and stays doing that until i switch it off at the bottom none of the plus or minus buttons do anything.
ive charged the battery fully also removed tank no ohms show when tank is on any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I don't own one of those so don't really know, did you check your coil to make sure it's secure?

the problem accurs with or without the atomiser on so it cant be the coil but appreciate your help .

does it fire up? sounds like a lock screen or something, if so, hit the fire button 3 or 5 times, usually gets you out of it

no it does not fire and its not lock screen the lock screen just shows click 3xon but this wont even lock. think it may be just a bin job although ive only had it around 8 weeks.

Welcome brother! Glad you are here -- I am not familiar with the Coolfire but others here are so I will bump the answer to them....

Try turning it off and plugging it in. That resets my demonic istick 20W when it goes buggy, which coincidentally, happens about every 8 weeks.
