Good evening all. Decided to give RBAs a chance after some time. The one thing that always kept me from rebuilding was the love for low/standard ohm vaping. I prefer my carto(tanks) at ~2.8ohms. Is this a feasible when making my own coils? The information is for this subject is far and few.

Current setup for my jump is a fogger v2(on a zmax v3) and a chybrid. I know they arent the ideal setups but i love the idea of a bottom feeder and the chybrid was an impulse buy from a friend that did a bulk order of them.

Any and all opinions/direction/ideas are greatly appreciated.

You can certainly use 2.8 ohms on a rebuildable granted you have a vv/vw device to power it to a wattage you would prefer. I prefer mechs because I can get a whole lot more power with no restrictions other than the battery.

There is nothing I know of that can replicate a cartomizer, but you can get pretty close though. A few things you might be interested in are the spheroid. It's basically a rebuildable dripping atomizer with filler material like a cartomizer. You would drip into it until the filler material is soaked and the wicks from the atomizer pull juice from the filler material allowing you to hold quite a bit more than a conventional dripper. You might also like something like the diver. It's shaped to fit into a carto tank and is rebuildable. You'll need non resistance and resistance wire though.

There are some issues with Fogger v2 you probably don't want to deal with. You can read the dedicated thread about it: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/461281-fogger-v2-wow.html
I constantly repeat myself but that's what you get to say your money well spent. Your options are Kayfun/Tayfun GT/Squapes, and Russian 91% which are pricy but great because they are modified drippers with out the need for dripping.
Also, there is another option to get a Reo dripper and a Reo mod which is a pricy combination too but allows to vape a dripper with out dripping.

The beauty of rebuildables is that you can do literally WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT. So, if you want 2.8 ohm coils, by all means go for it. You will likely find, though, that as you rebuild, vape a while, rebuild again, and so on, that your tastes and preferences will change.

Soooo, have at it. Give it a roll, have a vape, and see what you like. If you have problems, questions on how to build this and that, or just wanna show off, we're all here to help ;).

Thanks for the replies everyone. The encouraging comments make me wish i had brought my fogger to work now lol. My boss already thinks my rig looks like a small pipe bomb. Imagine his face when ive got a multimeter and a bunch of wire.

This weekend should make for a bunch of trial and error. CANT WAIT!

You said it about REOs. Fresh squeezed juice on demand in a nearly indestructible, pocket friendly, compact and awesome looking package. The RBAs are about as easy as you can get and a vape that equals or decimates the best genny setups.

I encourage you to check us out over in REOvil. Here's a link:

Here's a vid tutorial on the REO grand:

Here's a vid tutorial on the REO RBA (RM2):

And here's a photo tutorial on the RM2:

The REO grand / RM2 combination will be the best vape investment you make at any price. It us the end game for about 98% of those who have got one. But be careful ... It's hard to stop at one :)
