Hi there, my name is Dave and I'm very new to e-smoking. I was wondering if you guys could help out with a few questions. First off, I bought a starter kit from a Smoke51 kiosk in the mall, and I cannot find any information whatsoever online about the model I purchased. It's called a super cigarette and I've included a pic. Is it a good model? So far I think the whole e-cigarette thing is awesome and I haven't had a real cigarette in 2 weeks! In fact, I now prefer my e-cig to real cigarettes and I sincerely hope the fda or New York state doesn't take these life saving devices away from us. A few more questions I had:

Do "high" nicotine cartridges produce a higher amount of vapour when inhaled, or does the vapour just contain more nicotine?

Does e-liquid produce more vapour than the cartridges?

If I do get the liquid, do you drop the drops directly into the atomizer or into a cartridge?

Is Smoke51 a good brand to buy cartridges, liquid ect. from?

What is the model that I have?

Basically I'm loving my e-cigarette but I would like to get just a bit more vapor.

I know that's a lot of questions, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

higher amounts of nicotine don't affect the amount of vapor and the vapor just contains more nicotine. the higher the nicotine content the better the throat hit though. it's the pg/vg that give off the vapor. vg gives more vapor and most people use a mix of the two (usually 80%/20%). some people use 100% of one or the other. it really just comes down to personal preference.

as for liquid vs. catridges, it depends on what the ratio is in the cartridges. most likely you'll get better vapor using the liquid.

i've never heard of that e-cig before so i can't help you there.

Actually, I bought a Smoke 51 from a mall kiosk too. My first e-cig. I think it's a model 4081 or something like that. I can't totally remember (the numbers don't mean much to me and I can't remember. Maybe it's N4081 or something like that. Somebody will know.) Here's what I do know.....I moved quickly on to a 510. And from there to an eGo...which I'm in love with and using now. Here's the thing about Smoke 51: the cartridges are expensive for what you get. And....the little cartridge only holds 3-4 drops of juice, so you'll end up filling them all the time. If you don't mind, that's cool...but if you tried a different PV....like a 510, a KR808, or an eGo....you'd immediately see the difference. I don't know about you, but I way overpaid for my Smoke51. You can get a 510 kit for like $35.00 and it's a MUCH better PV. If you drip directly onto the atty, you have to remove the little "cup" from the mouthpiece...guess maybe you know that. Anyway, on several levels (cost, convenience, vapor production) my Smoke51 was inferior to my 510, and especially my eGo. Something to think about. But......it got me off cigarettes....and for that I'll always be grateful. As soon as I found this forum and ordered a different PV, I realized how much better it could get. I'll say this, if you like your Smoke51, you'll LOVE something a little more substantial.

Having said all that (sorry!).....get some good juice from one of the vendors here and either drip it right onto the atty or refill the little cup with it and it'll be better than the juice that came with it, or the carts you have to buy for it. My two cents. Welcome to ECF and congratulations on quitting the nasty cigs.

Oh, and visit the ECF library and I think it'll answer your questions about your model much better than I did. Check out the Wonderful World of Vaping Parts 1-6. It shows pics of the different models and you can find it there, I think. The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum

One more thing.....you'll get tons more vapor with a different model. Go watch some youtube videos about the Joye eGo.........

One more thing (I keep saying that...lol) Here's where they have the Joye 510 for $35.00 and they also have Joye eGo kits for $69.00 (an AWESOME PV).....
Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

Also, there are lots of juice vendors. A couple of my favorites are VaporBomb.com and www.freedomsmokeusa.com

I'd suggest getting small bottles of several different flavors at first to see what you like. If I remember correctly, Smoke51 only has a tobacco flavor and a menthol flavor. I thought I'd want only tobacco when I first started vaping, but realized pretty quickly that the other flavors are much better (to me). I now love Blueberry, strawberry, coffee, peanut butter.....
