Hi all! Analog free since June 4, with NO cravings for them. Hubby (non smoker) showed me an ad for Blu, I got them that night, and knew right away that this was going to work for me. Blu batteries don't last long, however, and within a week I got a V2 Starter kit with Vanilla, Cherry and Choc. Just OK, but I bought a bunch of blanks and some of their juice, same flavors. Also just OK to me. I found a local store and found E Liq Cube's Creamella Deville that I added to my above V2 flavors and it helped with making flavors rich and creamier. Today I received a sample order from Johnson Creek, and LOVE Spiced Apple Cider and Mint Choc. I'm awaiting a Mt. Baker sampler. This is a life changer for me, at 57, with a husband who's a retiring forester and we'll be spending the summers at 7400’ walking, hiking, etc. the timing of my finding E Cigs couldn't be better :) Merbearw

Welcome, Merbearw, and congrats on making the switch! I skipped Blu and started directly with V2, and like you, my first foray into "real vaping" was via the juice. Vaping is never boring when there are so many flavors to try!

If you're going to be away from electricity to recharge batteries during those walks/hikes, think about getting a good PCC (charging case) to carry along. This will give you more battery time while out and about.

If you stay with the V2 batteries, think about using clearomizers instead of cartridges. I use the Kanger e-smart clearos and can recommend them: e-Smart clearomizers - package of 5.

Vape happy! :vapor:

I'll second the vote for clearos, better flavor than a carto in my opinion, but I'm using Kanger T4s instead of the e-Smarts, just because they're a little thinner and fit the V2-style batteries more cleanly. You lose about 0.3ml of juice I believe, capacity wise, but if you want something that stays perfectly thin like an analog, they're not a bad investment. Seem to last a while too.

Thanks to both of you for the advice. I'll have to check them out, but I really like the size of these V2s with carto. Back to Google :)

Welcome to the wonferful world of vaping.

You just got some good advice, this should make your experience a little more enjoyable. I can't help but to react to your comment about liking the size of v2 with carto. I completely understand why: It looks and kinda feels like what your are used to, a cigarette, if that is what you are looking for by all means, ignore the rest of this post and enjoy vaping them, free of "the smokers cough" these days are over.

But if you want a battery that will last you a long time, and something that will hold more juice. Less refills and less recharge, consider something like the eGo battery with some king of clearomizer, like a evod or a kanger protank. It might look and feel silly at first but you'd be surprise to see how quickly you'll get over the form factor (that's what happened to me anyways, to each their own)

But whatever you choose: Enjoy what you have and Vape away! :)

That last sentence gives me great joy for you and your husband. You are living the life that my wife and I can only dream of at this time. Best wishes for you both and welcome to the forum!:toast:
