Noob got a new device

I'm looking into it but not sure if I want to carry on with this vaping stuff just yet. I am quite happy with my current device, I don't think I have any real preference one way or another, I keep switching the airflow around whenever I vape and I've been quite happy with the result.

One thing now that I have used up my 0.7ohm mesh coil and had to replace it with the supplied 1.2ohm one is that I'm not getting as much flavor from the same juice. Actually I'm not getting any flavor at all. It's a Ripe Vapes Clove e-juice, 65/25 VG/PG mix, the rest is flavoring. I'm assuming the high PG content and the 1.2ohm is the reason for the lack of flavor. I did make sure to soak the coil with ejuice and wait 10 minutes before using it, there was some flavor initially but not a whole lot and now it's just totally gone.

If the liquid you're using has a lot of sweeteners as well that can cause havoc with coils @jon123.

But can you confirm that it's 65% Vegetable Glycerine? As if so. That may be causing issues as well, due to the thickness of viscosity.

As the 1.2 ohm coil seems to be aimed at MTL style vaping, and MTL coils like thinner liquids rather than thicker.

A simple solution would be to add a small quantity of Distilled Water to the liquid as a solvent to thin it a little and help it wick better. But be careful, as a little bit goes a very long way.
