So, here is what I ordered:

1. 510 Bridgeless Low Resistance Atomizer
2. Boge Low Resistance Cartomizer 5 Pack
3. KSD VV eGo Variable Voltage-tank 900mAh Kit PASS THROUGHS!!
4. Smoktech tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Refill 5 pack
5. Smoktech 6ml Tank Dual Coil Cartomizer Clear With Drip Tip

Ok, so I got the little tanks that came with the kit to work, works great....

Questions:

#1 is the dripper, right? I figured out that the blue metal tip that comes with the smoktech big tank fits into the dripper. But how much should I put into the dripper at a time? Do I clean it out between flavours? With water?

Congrats on getting started!

Yes, number one is the dripper and yes, any 510 drip-tip will fit it. Here's how to get it going. Hold a tissue around the threaded end, and blow through the drip-tip end. This will remove any primer that may be in the atty. Then, drip about 5 drops of juice onto the coils. Let sit for a couple minutes, attach to PV and vape your head off.

A word of caution. LR atties are only meant to be used at around 3.7v, so watch that VV mod you picked up. Too much voltage, and the coil could pop.. ruining atty!

When changing flavours, blow out the old juice, put a few drops of new juice, and vape for a while till the new flavour takes over. This does not work for cartos, only attys.

I clean my atties using high pressure steam from my espresso machine. It cleans it, and comes out performing almost like new. I do this once a week.

Happy Vaping!

2-3 drops should do it. Don't want to flood the atty.

Some clean between flavors, some vape through it. It's the gumming up of the juice on the coil that you want to watch for.

Some recommend pure PG, pure grain alcohol or vodka.

Some recommend a dry burn, some don't.

I personally run it through a sonic jewelry cleaner in a mix of water and vinegar (yes, vinegar), then let it air dry in a container of silica gel. I dry burn whatever moisture is left.

As always, different strokes for different folks so YMMV.

Bear with me.... The other two things I have are this big tank with the stainless steel atomizer running through it and these cartomizers.

I figured out how to open the tank, do I just fill it with liquid and it will soak through the tiny hole in the atomizer and that's it? I have a refill of 5 more of the stainless steel atomizers, how long do these last?

Lastly, is there any special caveats to filling a cartomizer such as these? How do I know when enough is enough? I can refill it with the same flavour and keep using it? How long will it last in this manner? ie. how many times can it be filled? Haven't tried these yet.

BTW, you guys are an awesome community.

Cheers.

I fill my carto by tilting it about 30 degrees (battery connector side down) and dripping the juice down the side so that it doesn't drip down the middle and out the bottom. Drip, rotate, wait until the juice is absorbed into the filler, repeat.

My first fill I usually get about 25-30 drops. Less on consecutive fills. I keep refilling it until the flavor is muted, then I toss it.

As far as the 6ml tank you have you will want to drip fill the silver carto that comes with it using the above method, although the silver punched cartos will take way more juice than the regular black cartos, i filled one up today with 50 drops (depends on size of drops though) you will want to stop filling once it will not absorb your drips any longer. Then i put the carto back into the tank, with the top of the tank off, push the carto all the way into the tank, fill the tank about 3/4 full.

now i pull on the bottom of the carto and bring it down just above the juice line (so the juice will not spill into the carto, and pop the top cap back on. Now you can push the carto up into the top hole and throw a drip tip on it.....you are ready to vape! It will suck juice into the carto as you go.

Once you are getting low on juice, pull the carto back down so it is free of the top cap, pull the top cap off and refill, repeat the above steps on placing the cap back on....the reason i pull the carto down first is if you pull the cap off with the carto still attached it will create a suction and suck a crapload of juice into the carto :) This is just the way i do it, some peeps may have other methods.

Best way to fill a tank is to remove the drip tip and slide the tube up enough so you can use the bottle dropper to fill it or you risk running into leaking issues;no worries of leakage that way has it has o-rings top and bottom (you can also pry it a bit sideways once you slid it up to make more room);removing a top cap sounds easy but putting it back is when the leakage occurs.

Another way to prime it would be to just fill the tank and gently suck on the drip tip (with a finger over the hole that screws onto your battery)a couple times then let it sit a while.

At least its how I do it.

Thanks. Credit has to go to Tom at Canvape and TrueNorthist. They made the suggestions that culminated in that order.
