hey all, new guy here so first off hi and thanx for welcoming me. so my question is this, i have been smoking blu disposables for about 2 weeks now in the magnificent menthol flavor to decide if i wanted to go the vaping route or to continue smoking analogs. i just order a bloog maxx fusion kit 2 days ago and will probably recive it tommorow. i was wondering if it is just my tastebuds or if anyone else noticed that blu menthol doesnt taste menthol at all as a matter of fact it does nothing but make my tongue tingle and taste like a stale old analog ciggerette. did i make a mistake in attempting to vape or is blu disposables just a cheap brand?

I started the same way.. blu disposable menthol. it tasted yucky but it got me here. I ordered the blu prem 100 kit when i started off, and went thru some trial with the flavor carts. I made mistakes there so I have a drawer full of unused coffee, menthol , etc.. but.. u live , u learn. I got vanilla and I loved it. BUT.. that being said.. there is MUCH better to be had. When you find the good system for u, and a good e liquid, u will see..If u want to pm me I will tell u a few things I've learned, save u some money and time. But u r in the right place.. keep reading here and when u want an analog, reach for your e cig first. (me, if I just HAD to have the analog, at first, I smoked one.. eventually , you wont want to. I never forced it, it just came about on its own.) I am only 2 months in so I know where you are.. and you will get lots of great help here. stick with us, even if u dont give up analogs completely u will reduce them.

Hi, I'm a noob too, but I started the way you did - cheap gas station e-cig (Mistic for me) in menthol. While the cheapos did get me to stop analogs I agree that they really just tasted like stale old analogs. You didn't make a mistake. That's just how the low-end e-cigs taste. Not very good. I switched to an eGo 1100 and the experience improved dramatically. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by your bloog kit and some decent e-juice.

Congrats on your attempt to quit analogs. It's one of the best things you'll ever do for yourself!

I too started with a Blu disposable way back in November. I loved it and bought a Blu pack at Walgreens. Hated the battery life. While at a local Flea market I purchased Premium brand starter kit and it was 1k times better than Blu. Vaped them for 2 months. Added a eGo-t in December. Found V4L in Jan. Important thing is we are off analogs.

I'm right behind you
It will take a little time to find your perfect setup, but whatever keeps you off the stinkies is the way to go. I started with a gas station ecig myself and I knew there had to be something better, and there is. You are in the right place to get the info you need to make an informed personal decision on what's next. Take some time and cruise the posts, ask loads of questions, learn and find your perfect setup. Before you know it you will have forgotten to buy those analogs and your body will thank you. Congrats to you and welcome to ECF !

Well, considering that most of the vaping eliquids you buy are made to order, or practically so, and prefilled cartos could have been sitting in a warehouse for a year or more, it's no wonder that using blank cartos and filling with juice from reputable juice vendors would taste much better. Juice vendors recommend that you use your eliquids within a year. They don't go 'bad', but the flavor could/will change.
