So I am brand new to e-cigs, and am wanting to order my first one today. After looking into it a bit, I think I will go with a Vapor King. I want something that will hit harder than anything else, to simulate analogs as much as possible.

First off, since the VK uses atomizer cartridges, should I bother getting e-juice?

Also, do you order cartridges on a weekly basis, or how do you keep up with the habit?

Lastly, has anyone here ordered from vapor4life.com? I plan on ordering the ultimate starter kit from there. Should I buy extra cartridges with the order?

Thanks for any help

I'm somewhat new at all of this (3 weeks), and I've never ordered from Vapor4Life, so I can't say one way or another about them or their products. But I can say, after looking at their website, they do seem pretty steeply overpriced...

If you want something that will hit hard, you shouldn't consider atomized cartridges. I would suggest the 510 model with the manual battery. You will also need to get some juice to re-fill the cartridge. Don't waste your money on pre-filled carts IMO. Take some time and read some review and/or watch them. This will help you a lot on your decision.

First, although I have never ordered from them Vapor4Life has a good reputation on this forum.

Second, I agree with Hangtime that you should really consider a manual battery device such as the 510, more reliable, good throat hit and less issues. But if your main objective is the best throat hit, long lasting batteries and best performance, then you should get one of the premiere devices. Here is a list plus some 510 suppliers:

The Big Eight in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s:

Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette eLiquid Store
Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!

LV/ZiMoshi:Personal Vaporizers : Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T: Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.
AdapteverR: AdapteveR Home of the ORIGINAL USA built PV : Home
Silver Bullet: AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer Silver Bullet - Kit - Starter Kits

Several Joye 510 & Manual DSE901 Suppliers:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd
e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's

You'd get tired of atomized cartridges (or "cartomizers," as they're called) pretty quickly. They claim to represent a large number of equivalent cigs, but never do. There's a good reason why the overwhelming majority prefer the 510 or other manual switch device. Even the 901 now has a manual switch battery. Check out the Model-Specific subforums on here; you'll learn a lot! Notice which ones have a lot of posts. I'll say this too: most pre-filled cartomizers are blech-tasting. You'll wind up buying your own juice, experimenting with samples till you find some you like. It will easily beat any cartomizer flavors. Best of luck and vape on!!

Manual anything in my opinion is better than an automatic. I have a manual 510 and a manual 801 and I enjoy them both. I use them both about the same throughout the day and each one has different things I enjoy, but they both produce vapor and throat hit. I also agree that buying liquid is much better than using prefilled. Just buy some empty carts. I also recommend fluval for cart filler, but other swear by the tea bags and such. Look through the forums, there is lots of good information to help you in your quest.
