Are the cartridges (atomizers?) interchangable with other brands? I did not buy empty cartridges when I ordered my
V2........After reading here I want to buy e-liquid from MtBaker.....can I use the empty cartridges from Mt. baker
on my V2?

I'm sure this info is SOMEWHERE in the vast info. here but I want to order NOW! Woke up with a return of my
cold and bronchitis after vapeing on and off yesterday but still smoking analogs.

I'm in a hurry to get the hell off anologs, they are killin me.
:(
Thanks for any advice.
Haley

Hi, I started with V2 as well. Their batteries are KR808D-1 (4.7v at full charge, settling in at 3.7v operational). A lot of vendors that sell cartos/attys have a 808 version. You can also get an 808/510 adapter to use the more common 510 threaded cartos (sometimes called a 901/510). The V2 cartos are also SR (standard resistance) between 2.6ohm - 3.0ohm.

I was up until recently a Bloog user which is the same form factor as V2 (808D-1). I've used blank cartos from both V2 and Bloog with a variety of juices. Also ordered pre-filled then topped them off with my own stuff. I'd recommend getting a 510-808/901 adapter and an 808/901-510 adapter, that way you can mix and match eGo batteries to your carts, or get clearomizers and better carts for your V2 batteries.

Those will not work. When they say V2 in the SmokTech name, they mean "Version 2" whereas your V2 brand battery is a different beast altogether.

However, you can get an adapter to use an 808 battery (your V2) with a 510 atomizer (what you ordered). I just don't know if the battery will be strong enough to drive it.

The V2 batteries are too small to drive some of the LR (low resistance devices). My V2 batts are 250mAh (std sized) and 380mAh (long sized), for the amount of battery drain created by LR stuff rule of thumb is 450mAh or larger. Using LR on smaller batts will reduce the life span or even render them inoperable.

The tank itself doesn't have any impact at all. It's the cartomizer inside. If you get SR (std resistance ~2.5ohm to ~3.0ohm) that fit your tank (I think the DCT V2's take and XL carto - 45mm body) you'd be fine. You can also use std length cartos with a long barrel drip tip (Milage may vary).

The Cartridges you get with your V2 are reusable up to 5 times after empty. I buy my juices from Mtbaker vapor. Good juice great price. When you refill them yourself they last alot longer, you can put more juice in them..... Haley just a little tip with bronchitus you really want to try to leave real cigs alone ask me how I know. Everytime you have a craving just take a hit off your v2. You do that enough and you wont want a analog cause it will taste like crap..... I smoked for over 40 yrs and after 1 week and 1 day of no analogs I feel like a new person....
