I guess I learn the hard way. After I get my refund from eSmoke i am seriously
considering the Joye eGo for the home and car and either a 510 or KR-808 for walking
about town.

I'm a big, big fan of the KR-808. I started out with an njoy e-cig, whatever model that is. Cartomizers take away a lot of the fuss of having to refill carts or having to deal with atomizers going bad, in my opinion. While the price is higher, carrying around less stuff is worth it to me.

Well alright. I've read great things about both the KR-808
and the 501. After reading some great reviews I
think I will go with the Vapor King from V4L. Seems
Like that kit has everything u want including a PCC, so
thats pretty cool.

I'm also considering getting "The Chuck" to use exclusively
for home use and long drives. I've heard good things
about that too.

Tomorrow I get my first order of e-juice from Tasty Vapor.
I can hardly wait to try Geoff's blend. I've heard nothing
but great things.

Its confusing at first - but it gets better - it helps once you pick a good PV that works for you, then youre not searching pages of text looking for info on ALL PV.
Work out what you want from a PV - price, looks, battery life, shape (portability), does it lend itself to mods easily (when you may want to upgrade its useful to use some or most of your current set up) can I get a PT for it, are spares easily available everywhere, are the spares pricey or reasonable, do I want a 3 piece or a 2 piece (probably the most tough one)..
All those questions help you narrow down your search.
DOnt forget we ALL started where you are now and ended up with something that suited us. I remember my first post here - I was recommended a KR8 or a joye510 (no 510eGos back then, boo, eGo battery life is far superior lol) and after looking at them about a zillion times I went with the 510 (partly because it had a PT that was easily available all over and I work on my PC a lot) and havent looked back :)

I started out with an E9 similar to yours. I then switched to a KR808 from Vapor King. Initially I chose them because they seemed the be the closest thing to an analog. They served their purpose (getting me off analogs) but I was still looking for something with longer battery life and better draw. I chose the Ego and couldn't be more pleased. They look different but I no longer need the look and feel of an analog. The battery life is great, I found a juice I like and haven't needed or wanted to explore other options since. its all a journey of discovery and figuring out what works best for you. We all take different paths to get there. ECF will help you along the twists and turns as you go. Best of luck.

Kit ordered from V4L. I should get it next week. What sold me was the PCC that it comes
with. With that, hopefully, I won't have to stress over the battery life so much. I also ordered some Carto's to accompany it (Mango, Banana Foster, and Cappuccino). Today I
should receive my "Goeffs Blend" in the mail from Tasty Vapor. Yummy.

The next thing is to order "the Chuck" to have a powerhouse for the home and long
drives up the coast.

Ease up on yourself! What is learning the hard way? I happened to be fortunate enough to find this site, and for one of the FEW times in life didn't make an impulse decision. Had I spent $200 an a kit and it lead me to where I am today, I'd still consider myself blessed.

Take it easy, and we've got you from here:D Stick with it even if you have to order yet another kit! Eventually making the switch will pay off monetarily. I'll be in the red for a while with everything I have to buy, but I can't purchase the way I've felt for the last 2 + months!

Welcome, relax, and enjoy!

Whatever you spend, whatever you waste, whatever you change your mind about.....it's all worth it to get to the place where you are no longer a smoker. If you mistakenly bought a kit or two that you will soon outgrow....so be it. I was smoking about a carton a week of the cheapest off-brand cigs and I was spending over $160 a MONTH. That will buy a lot of kits, batts, attys, carts, cartos, and juice. I'll break even soon....then it'll be all downhill.....way, way cheaper in the long run (in just money alone) than smoking. The improvement in my health, smell, taste, the odor of my house, clothes, car....immeasurable.
