Hello all, I'm fairly new to vaping and just joined this community. I've used e-cigs in the past but just picked up a innokin Cool Fire I and so far really liking it. I also just ordered a Kanger Protank 3 and should arrive this Sat.

Any recommendations, tips or advice for someone new to mods, clearomizers, etc.?

Welcome! Is this something you're using to quit smoking?

Yes, I havent smoked a real cigarette ever since I got my cool fire I about 2 weeks ago. And I would say I've moved to vaping to not stop smoking but to stop smoking cigarettes.

The reason why I went with the cool Fire I is because I wanted something that wasn't too big but offered good features. I like the fact that it has a fixed Wattage, battery indicator and on/off with just 3 clicks.

I do want to get into the VW and VV sometime but not sure where to start with all techincals involved. As I've been reading around it sounds pretty involved. Any suggestions?

Welcome aboard, StrikeIII. :D

Just brush yourself up on lithium battery safety.

Kanger products are pretty easy to use. Only thing I can think of is to take a couple of dry hits (no power) on the PT3 to be sure that there is juice in the wick before taking your first powered hit off of it. Also, make sure that everything is firm and secure before filling it, especially the coil head.

Thanks for the info. Yeah after reading around I didnt realize things can get pretty technical down to the batteries. I've ordered some efest 800mah batteries for my CF I. I should receive those next week and thats another thing I liked about the CF I was the safty features.

Congrats on making the switch! Get yourself a fancy I quit smoking sig so you can see how much you're saving. As far as diving deeper into vaporizers I would recommend, Grimmgreen, PBsuardo and Vapingwithtwisteds YT channels. I can sit for a whole day and just watch YT videos on vaping and learn a ton.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Haven't watched much YT on vaping so I'll check them out.

I can strongly recommend Vape Dojo. I have both ordered from their site AND bought stuff at their B&M ... Good folks, they take care of their customers!

HTH

I like myfreedomsnokes.com if they have anything you like! Fast/reasonable shipping, and good service.

I like discountvapers. Good service, shipping and prices. Lots of good extra info on the products they carry as well.

I know you don't want anything "clunky" but these are affordable and easy to use. Soon you want to satisfy your vape and play with vv and vw. If you don't like having a "box", you used to carry a pack of analogs around. 101vape ships fast too.

Innok Itaste MVP2 - $40

Thanks for all the info. definitely glad I joined this community. I sure have a lot to look at over the weekend. Cheers everyone

I second the MVP 2 from 101vape. Just got mine yesterday and loving it. If you don't want to go too big and still have the option of VV or VW, I also suggest the iTaste VV v3. I have that one too, although my husband "borrowed" it from me around a week ago and has no intention of ever letting me see it again. The kanger mini protank II looks great on the iTaste.
