One important thing to remember in ordering juice is the nicotine strength, if you buy say 12mg / mL
juice rather than 36 mg / mL the same vaper would need to vape 3 times as much to get the same
amont of nicotine to KILL the cravings.

Most vapers start out in the 18-24 range for a average 1 to 1 1/2 pad, average strength cig smoker,
then adjust up or down depending on how much they vape and how it's killing the cravings.

I've been trying to figure out how much I could save with diy liquid vs. prefilled cartos. Did some mathy type stuff, using some *average* numbers from this thread. Figured I'd dump some of the figures, here.
I'll assume 1ml/carto (in regards to solely ordering prefilled), and 3ml/day. Prices are based on where I think I might like to buy, and what I'm currently paying for analogs (still pre-vape...) I'll ignore a bit of the upfront costs. This is going to be some pretty messy math, but in the end, it's enough to confidently show off to my better half... the one who keeps all the money, haha.

Prefilled Cartos vs. Analogs:
I smoke about a half pack a day, at about $7.85 a pack. The cartos I'm looking at come in a 5 pack at $11. 6 cartos = 1 pack. For easier math we'll go 30 cartos=5 packs=10 days of smoking.
30 cartos=$66
5 packs of analogs=$39.25
... Well that option is totally out. While I'm looking to save my health, I'm also pretty cheap and can't be doing this at an ongoing loss!

e-liquid vs. analogs:
Taking a quick look one vendor, just to get an approximate cost of 30ml=$21 vs. $39.25. Doing good here. Not losing money, and it looks like it will be a slow recoup.

DiY vs. pre-mix vs. analogs:
30ml of 36mg nic base, 6ml of flavoring, and diluting liquid. Makes a 51ml batch (via an e-liquid calc, not going to get super specific). Ordering enough to make 3 batches is about $39. At 3ml/day this will last me 51 days.
51 days DiY=$39
51 days pre-mix=$107
51 days analogs=$200
51 days prefilled cartos=$336!

It's pretty much a no-brainer, at this point. I think the other half will agree.

The only thing that will throw off your calculations is when vendors have 50% off sales.
