I have only been vaping for about a month now as a way to give up smoking cigs. I have 2 ego T batteries and 2 aspire k1s. I just got a smoktech emax vv/vw battery and was really excited. I have a different flavour in each tank so I figured I'd try each one on the new emax.(both pg/vg 50 50) After when I put them back on the ego t batteries I noticed that one k1 wouldn't work with a specific battery. The other works just fine. I then switched the two k1s onto the other ego Ts just to see and then they both work. So when I switched them back again, only the one k1 would work. Both k1s work on the emax as I tried them both again after. I am very confused and hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong

Welcome @Crankkt :)

I'm not real sure, but you might want to consider just barely lifting up the contacts on the batteries. It's possible one of the tanks has pushed the positive pin down into the battery a bit, not allowing good contact. To take care of this, I'd turn off the battery and get a toothpick. VERY GENTLY lift the center pin of the battery. You don't need to lift very far - just an itsy-bitsy tiny nudge - work your way around.

BUT, before you do all that, check to make sure there's no juice that has accumulated. Take a q-tip and gently swab around the battery contact. I'd also swab around the base of the tanks - to make sure they haven't accumulated any juice.

I've had similar tanks leak ever so slightly, and because of the liquid, the battery won't make contact and fire.

Yes, likely one of the ego batteries has the center battery post pushed down some meaning it is not making a reliable contact with the center post of the tank. Turn the battery off, then get a pin, paper clip, or small screw driver (any small sharp object) and wiggle that center post. You really only need to raise it like a millimeter.
