Noob, not liking my SS V-Tube

Hi guys and gals,

I got started on the whole e-cig train when I visited Hong Kong last Christmas. Every little street vendor had those E-heath cigarettes, and the price was right.

Well, I loved the flavor, but it wasn't long before it burnt out (both actually, I picked up 2 and one atty didn't work out of box...) and I put it on a shelf. Went back to analogs.

Early spring, a friend introduced me to the Apollo Extreme and I was hooked. First order was the kit, menthol, sahara, raspberry, and cappucino. I quickly fell in love with menthol, and vowed to upgrade units as soon as I could.

A friend of mine (non smoker) wanted to get one, so I hooked him up with a T-Go tank kit from Apollo. And at the same time, I upgraded to the SS V-Tube because of the amazing sale they had going.

My friend loved his, it was dead simple and always worked. Mine on the other hand... I mis read the site, and thought that the SS didn't need an adaptor. Being low on funds, I've had to wait a month before ordering an adaptor to use the CE4 clearomizer. Bummer.

I've tried to use the included atty in the mean time, but it seems to be pure junk.

In the mean time, I've gone back to using my cartomizers from the extreme kit on my buddies spare T-go battery. Great vape, good battery life.

So now that I saved a little money, I put in a small order to HHV. Adaptor, some mop head clearomizers and some samples. Oh, and 15ml of Gandalf. Sahara was junk, I need a proper tobacco vape.

So, am I heading down the right path? Or should I just stick to my Extreme kit and get rid of the SS?

I actually do still smoke occasionally on weekends, but even that is cut back now... vaping just tastes so much better!

Have you tried chatting with Apollo? THey have live chat available on their site last time I had questions before getting my SS Vtube mini. I use it with tanks and cartomizers.

Pretty sure I've worked things out. I made an order through HHV for (I think) the right adapter. Fingers crossed!

I will say this as someone who has to use an adapter as well... Dont screw your clearomizers down really tight. You will have a hard time getting the cleaomizer off the adapter. I keep a pair of pliers and a rubberband in my bag just incase I do tighten it down too much.

Set you V-tube at about 4.5-4.8v, drip 4 drops into the atty and enjoy.
