Noob Question - 510 is "sweating"

First and foremost - Thank you! I am new to vaping, and have been analog-free for 72 hours. I know it does not sound like a big deal – but it’s a claim that I have been unable to make for 20+ years… until now. So, to the countless helpful and generous posters on this site, Thank You!

Now, a question: I received my 510 in the mail about a week ago, and I think I am getting the hang of it. I have refilled the carts that came with the purchase using a VG juice. Now, I notice that my 510 starts “sweating” as I vape. I can feel small amounts of greasy VG juice at the seams, where the atty joins the battery I think.

I am not sure what is going on here, so I thought I would ask the experts and see if anyone has an explanation or remedy.

Either your 510 has overheard you talking about ordering a different model [sorry, couldn't resist] or your overfilling. I've found anywhere between 8 to 12 drops is the best amount for 510's

are you dripping or using filler? either way it does sound like you are using too much juice. it happens to me ALL the time due to my heavy hand!

I think you may be right about over filling; trying to get a bigger cloud.

Add a drop or two of VG when you fill-up that will give you all the vapor you could possibly want.

Great advice... Great video, thank you. I was impressed with the speed and agility with which you rolled up that PTB. Looks like those fingers may have had some practice

May I know what problem you had with the PTB? Just curious as some feedback on the blue-foam mod described a "taste" to the foam.

What I really want... a cart that IS a bottle dropper - all in one.

So if I see the vape cloud getting smaller, or detect that burnt atty taste, I could "squeeze" the cart and a drop of two would be released onto the atty wick.

That way, you could load up a decent qty of juice, but still have the benefits of the drip.

Just a thought.

well, that would be somthing new. but i don't think its been invented yet. My 510 "sweats" around the cart and atomizer connection. I belive that happens because when you vape the juice it doesn't all get vaped and condenses on the inside walls of the 510 atomizer and around the mouth peice connection. When I pull the mouth peice off to drip and put it back in I always get a ring of juice around that connection ( i just don't touch it and continue to vape, sometimes i wipe it with a tissue). This is why my 510 will never leave the house, it is just to messy.

When I first bought the blue foam it had an odor to it that I imagine wouldn't taste great. Washed and rinsed it out really well, and there's no discernible taste or smell that it adds to the vape.

Yeah, you have to wash the foam first. It has some sort of wax or something on it that needs to come off. But after you wash it there is absolutely NO taste from the foam, only the taste of your nicquid. It really does work.
