the hard part is that most e-liquid is measured as milligrams per milliliters, not percentages of milliliters. I'm not good at math, but there's a way to figure this out....

Really? I don't seem to be getting much of an effect off of using it..., or is 16mg considered low?
I've been told that it's tough to realistically compare the MGs in ejuice to analogs because of the additional chemicals in cigs.

depends on your pv also. I bet if you tried the same juice with your ego it'd seem a lot stronger.
I'll second that. But you'd probably do well with 20-24mg juice too.
I ordered some 12mg cartomizers from cignot.com These: https://www.cignot.com/Joye_510_cartridges_p/510-cro-blk.htm . Would that be strong enough, or should I get these instead, https://www.cignot.com/product_p/ego-ct5-alb.htm, which have 18mg.

I personally like the standard 510 cartomizers better. I didn't like the flavor on the eGo ones (I think I'm the only person who doesn't like them AFAIK), plus you need a syringe to fill them -- so if you get the eGo ones get a syringe too. The eGo ones hold more e-juice, that's the main difference.

You can condom fill the standard 510 cartos, but not the eGo ones.
I put about 15 drops (about 1/2 full) of juice in the cover the first time I fill it. Maybe a little less, then I shake it like a thermometer and add a little more.

you can approach it by finding the number of mg per single mL in the suspension. divide mg by mg/mL to find the number of mLs per dose. This method is a proportion but many find it easier to work it out in this manner. You would be attempting to "solve for X." Converting weight(mg) to volume(ml) or vise versa can be extremely difficult
You can buy e-cigs without any nicotine in them and you can buy no-nic e-liquid to use in any e-cig you want. You can also buy any variety of e-liquid to use in your e-cig with all sorts of levels of nicotine in it.

I just bought some unflavored nic juice. It's 30mg and the label says: "36 MG/ML 3.6% w/v"
Also, I've seen something somewhere explaining it...but I'm very sure 1.6% is the equivalent of 16mg juice. And while I'm here, I don't like the eGo Mega cartos either. I really like the 2.0 ohm (medium resistence) cartos on my eGo batteries.
