Noob Recipe / Will this work?

Hi All,

I have read through most of the stickies and few other beginners posts... I am not yet ready to try for a work of art, but just want to try something simple. I like vanilla vapes and from what I've read, it seems like it would be fairly easy to replicate. Is it this simple?


Recipe:
1 part vanillan crystal (premixed in 10% PG)
4 parts PG (to reduce nic level of nic juice)
5 parts flavorless 50PG/50VG nic juice (24mg)


Mix in flask, bottle it, let it steep awhile, and I will have a satisfactory vanilla vape that is roughly 12mg nic and 25% VG? Or am I missing something? Do I need to add anything more for flavor depth? I know a lot of the recipes call for ethyl maltol or something for sweetness, but based on the FA description of the vanillan crystal as "intensely sweet", it doesn't sound as though that would be needed here...

Yes your calcs are correct and "sweet" is subjective, you might be fine just like it is.
