Hi Y'all!,
Super excited about getting my new REO(HT wrinkled blk.) but am having problems with the Reomizer 2.0.I am experiencing less than stellar hits with my build.I followed Super X's micro coil KGD video exactly except for the wire guage.I used 28 instead of 29AWG.I am at 9 wraps, ohming out at 1.3, 1.4 ish. I am either gurgling or getting hot hits.I am trying to get the squonking thing down, seems I flood it or starve the coil.I enclosed a pic of my coil for any critique any one might have.
Any help would be appreciated!Meanwhile I'm still toking on my Ego.

I have had my Reo for a little over 6 months now and I still always need to remove the drip tip to make sure I am saturating the wick good. The coils looks fine to me. I would double checks the ohms, sometimes the coil will get loose for no reason. Like the other poster wrote just make sure your air hole is facing away from you. Good luck.

It appears your coil is far away from the air hole. You want it close but not right on top to where it's blocking the air hole.. also check by looking down the top with the drip tip off and see where the air hole lines up. You want it dead center of the coil. Take note where the hole lines up in relation to the posts to be sure an center it just right on your next build.

Looks like your wick is singed a bit right at the coil edge. Biggest improvement I made to stopped burned hits was making sure the coil was mounted so that when the cap was on the air hole was directed right at the coil. Check out this thread I just recently started. My latest RM2 build and some stuff I've learned getting here | E-Cigarette Forum
For flooding make sure your wick isn't covering the squonk hole.

Sub ohm!! Perfect sweet spot for single coils. Give it a coil with like 6 wraps and try it, go old skool and wrap up a gnarly ugly coil (spaced coil) you can try to lower it down closer to the deck and move it a little closer to the air hole. Make sure the air hole is lining up with the coil, that's the single most important thing. Just experiment, have fun and keep calm and vape on!!

Check for hot legs. If none, try less cotton. If that doesn't help, try ridiculously less cotton. If that still doesn't help, try more cotton.

As has been posted, try a coil closer to the air hole. Try moving the coil up and down to see if that helps.

28g kanthal a1 wire will produce a cool to cold vape anywhere from .9 to 1.7ish ohms depending on your coil placement, wicking, and airflow/draw.

Gurgling is typically a flooded air path. Usually I get it if there are wick fibers under the coil.
