Noob saying hello

Hello, I am an avid E-Cig supporter!!! I have been vaping for a year now, and free of traditional ciggerattes for a year also. I love to vape!! I have spent on average 60 dollars a month on supplies. I have used now 6 kits (kgo) which I am not sure but I think its like a generic battery type. I have 1 joyetech EGO-T kit which has survived now for 9 months its with 2 510's and 1 1000mah battery. The rest I have killed. I vape heavily as I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. The 510 will last about 6hrs and the 1000 will last a whole day. I usually smoke the 30/70 combo of 24 mg nic. I have killed all my 1000 mah kits with double carts. I recently bought a Vivi nova large tank and used it (with delight) on my joyetech 1000mah battery and I am not sure what resistance it is but now I have a dead battery :(.....and I am wondering is it the tank or am I in need of a upgrade and what would yall recomend??? I have to buy a new kit anyway....:confused::p

Well, batteries eventually die, but you can prolong their life a little (or a lot) by making sure to clean them properly in between charges. Just search youtube (if you haven't done so already) for videos on how to properly clean and maintain eGo batteries, and also how to clean and maintain your chargers. Gunk can and does accumulate on both, over time, but cleaning them is super quick and super easy, requiring literally only seconds a day. And welcome to ECF. :vapor:

Thank yall!!! :) I havent checked you tube but I will I do clean them but I am sure I do it wrong cause I use windex and paper towels lol. jeeeez. I love the 1000mah. Someone recomended a pass through. My vape is awesome but I seem to just be killing battery after battery I am sure it is user error. I had noticed that the last dual coils atomizers I bought seemed to be the problem Im thinking the vivi must be a dual also.

welcome to ECF

I have several Vivi nova's that I rebuild the heads on and they are not dual coil from the factory

Pass thru's are great - I got a VV one from Discount Vapors

USB Variable Voltage Mini Passthrough - Stainless

and then discovered fast tech has the same model (at least looks like it)

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1...ble-voltage-usb-passthrough-battery-for-e-cig

are really great for saving batteries but you need at least a 2.1 amp usb power converter to run the 2 higher voltages (at the 1.8 and 2 ohms I run) and I would be careful running it off your computer

If you like and want to stay with the ego's- buy the Upgrade series from Joyetech. They have better short-circuit over-discharge and other protection circuits, which is probably why your batts keep dying.

Instead of dying, they just blink and shut off until you replace faulty head- instead of just dying. About the same price, and very good quality.

They also will run unregulated at 3.7 volts for a warmer vape.
