Hey everyone, I'm a new guy to the forum, I just attended my first vape expo, and I actually won a $500 store credit to rts vapes. So stoked, thanks rts for drawing my name! I never win. I have been through so many different ecigs over the last four years, but as of six weeks ago I have put down the can of chew for good. Now on to making my own juice.
There is so much info here I haven't stopped reading for days.. Measurements seem easy but flavor % is what I see as the biggest challenge most of what I have ordered are tfa flavors.. What is the average % for flavor without overdoing it?

TFA flavors are all over the place, they can be anywhere from less than 1% to 20%. I usually take the invoice and write down an individual percentage for each one, there are lists of starting percentages you can search for.

I'd go with 2.5% if those weren't available, that's usually enough to get the taste without it being too strong, but it will be too weak usually. Most seem to be good around 10%.

Nope, sorry it does not work that way. Some flavors are good at 20%, others are horribly, disgustingly strong at 3%. Some particular brands might have a general range where that could work, but considering the many brands and multitude of flavorings across the many brands, the answer is anywhere between 0.25% and 20%.

Should be fun to experiment.

Well you are starting off with the right perspective. And you can often get advice for a specific flavoring by starting a thread with a title like, "Precent recommendation for flavor xyz by brand abc." But yes, if you look at is as experimentation, rather than a burning need to create a specific product, DIY is a heck of a lot of fun.

Here is a Google spreadsheet someone compiled that may give you a start on TFA %'s.

Not to overwhelm you, there is this one.

And a third one. Use Google translate if needed.

I apologize in advance for not going through this (enormous) thread to find the latest post that compiles flavors and percentages (lots of TFA data), look towards the last pages...

Happy data mining!
