Hi All,
This is my one week anniversary of vaping and I'm glad to be on board. Before purchasing my set up, i reviewed a lot of threads in this forum and want to start contributing; pay it forward.

After trying 70/30 and 60/40 mixes on my Vivi nova, I'm going to get off the PG train and go with 100% VG. when i was on the mixes, i tended to feel more sleepy and have dry mouth. My order with virgin vapors of 100% VG should be here next week, and i asked annette to make the brew thin for my cart.

I will keep everyone updated on how it goes. Again, thanks for everyone's contribution.
Charlie

I had to reply in your thread, for obvious reasons :)

I am interested in how the pure VG works out for you, though. I don't have anything against the PG, but I don't really care about throat hit, and the dry mouth is occasionally annoying.

Also, congratulations on your first week! I'm even newer than you, still looking forward to my one week anniversary.

congrats and welcome.

i love virgin's black cherry marshmallow with extra flavoring. nummy num..

annette thins it for me as well so you have no worries. just remember, the vg based flavorings are usually made with alcohol instead of pg so a few things you might need to know here.

virgin makes the ejuice to order so it will not be steeped. when you open it up, you will probably smell very strong alcohol. dont worry, the longer it steeps, the more the alcohol vents off.

when i first ordered, i bought enough so i could be using one bottle and have another bottle sealed and steeping. when i break into my spare bottle, thats my sign to order more. this way i always have a well steeped bottle in reserve.

if i run low and have to vape the new bottle immediately when it gets here, i pull out enough ejuice in a syringe to fill my carto. i then put the ejuice thats in the syringe in a shallow dish and let the alcohol vent off before i put it in my carto and vape it. if you dont, you will get a heavy alcohol taste when you vape.

once you find the flavors you like, order double what you want. this way you can always have a spare bottle and rotate it out when new comes in. this will give the alcohol time to naturally vent off before you vape it instead of having to put the ejuice in a shallow dish and let the alcohol vent.

other than that, you are good to go. yummy stuff at virgin. did i mention it i love the black cherry marsh? hehe

good look and welcome to the ecf family

Welcome conflator and i dig the profile pic. I'm liking the 100% VG. I got a few bottles from allaboutvapors and they were able to accommodate my request. I get no dry month, no slight dizziness, and no prickly throat hit. I'd acutally prefer an analog than that.

Congrats and we all made the right move.

Hi Angel, thanks for the tips especially on the shallow dish trick. I did find about steeping too late. I was vaping tasteless juice for a while and was wondering why folks were giving gleaming reviews on the juices they've tried. But i know a little bit better now thanks to everyone and I will be ordering ahead to allow for steeping. Unfortunately i have yet to try juice that has been steeping for 3+ weeks.

I will give black cherry marshmallow a try. and I do like cherry garcia ice cream too.

Well howdy neighbor..sort of hehe

I learned with a shallow dish the alcohol vents faster. Just gently swish it around every now and then.

I cover it with glad press and seal and take a ice pick and punch some holes in the press and seal. It keeps the ejuice safe while it vents. Just swish it every 30 mins or so for an hour or two. Just sniff it, if you smell alcohol, let it sit a little longer.

Steeping helps rid the alcohol and the flavor gets better and better. I am working on a 160 ml bottle of BCM right now and I got another 160 ml brewing hehe

I luvs that stuff :p

I'm vaping only VG, an a very little amount of nicotine liquid, cause there's no PG here to find. It gives me a dry mouth feeling too, but it's good for my nose! Really.

I'm wating for my packet from HC where there are some mint flavours, which may help me finding throat hit without using nicontine. Hope it works.

I've been speding about 47 days vaping.
