Theoretically, you would want RiVa batteries. But I have both an eGo and a RiVa, and parts are entirely swappable. My eGo cone fits on my RiVa and vise versa. These are just the standard sizes; I'm not sure about the XL.

As far as a passthrough, any 510 passthrough will work. I think you can get a standard or 5V. It might also be worthwhile getting the adapter that allows you to plug it into the wall to avoid the potential of damage to your computer; I'm not sure how rare that is, but since I make my living with my laptop, I don't really want to take a chance.
