OK so I discovered e-cigs before I discovered this forum and ended up with an njoy NPro, so now (as I am sure most of you are aware) I am getting ripped off on carts (as well as having a less-than-optimal e-smoking experience).

I'll be stepping up - most likely to a Janty Kissbox based on what I am reading here - soon enough, but in the meantime the hardware I have is still working (if you can call the weak amount of vapor and the difficult draw "working") and I'd like to find a cheaper source of compatible carts than njoy itself.

Can anyone suggest another cart source? Are the carts supplied by NJoy workable if I get a bottle of juice? How long can I keep reusing them? I'd also welcome your advice regarding a more substantial replacement for the NPro. I am over the whole "has to be small and look like a real cigarette" thing... in fact I think I quite fancy a blue LED on a black penstyle.

In short, I require a mentor and guide into this world of yours!

BTW: I am right off tobacco two weeks now. This concept is a God-send even if the Njoy Npro itself is not!

I have the npro and i like it (I also have a 901 and a Janty KB yentl).
The npro produces great amounts of vapor for me and the feel and size is nice. If yours is producing wimpy vapor, there is a problem, in which case, let them know so they can figure out what's wrong or replace it for you...that's what the warranty is all about. The problem could be you are smoking the carts dry, the atomizer is bad, or you don't have good or fully charged batteries.

Yes, their carts are insanely overpriced, don't bother. Use the ones that came with it to refill and buy some liquid from another vendor.

Anyway, I think NJOY gives you 30 days for a full refund, so if it's really disappointing to you, send it back. Really though, it should not be wimpy on the vapor, and the draw should be nice and easy.

Here's more newbie questions. I just found out about ecigarettes yesterday. I had seen them quite a long time ago but they weren't available for US citizens. Now I find so many I haven't got a clue on anything. I just bought an NJOY npro starter kit today but I know the carts are much more expensive. Are there any carts that are NJOY compatibles? I'm guessing that any liquid supplier can be used with any ecig? And lastly, what is the difference between dripping witih and without the cart? I've been trying to read and find these answers but am having a bit of trouble locating them. Can someone here help me with these questions please? Thanks! :thumb:

Well . . . I also started with an Npro and the first one I received had a bad aerator (honestly it sounds to me that is your problem as well) i returned it for an Njoy pen style and received it 2 days ago and it has been working fantastic. I will say that after reading everyday on these forums though that the DSE901 mini cig has way better reviews and the carts are about a quarter the price of njoys carts but I havent tried it yet . . . I will tell you this much go to Puresmoker.com and check out the mini DSE901, its only 50 bucks and comes with everything the Npro comes with and has way better reviews from what ive read on these forums, am i right guys??

I would also go to Jantyusa.com and purchase some RY4 liquid, its their best seller and again from what i have read is a very good tasting liquid.

If i had it to do all over again that is the route I would take, in fact, Im thinking of returning my Njoy pen style for a DSE901 or even a pen style from puresmoker as they are better and the pen style is also 50 bucks, much cheaper than Njoy. I would actually make money back and have a better product as well.

hope this helps

Welcome to the forum Liza.

You can refill cartridges with any eliquid, I don't know who sells compatable ones over there but you can reuse the ones you get with your kit for a while. When the filler gets manky just rinse it under water, dry and refill.

Dripping into the atomiser means not using a cartridge, drip a couple of drops onto the atomiser and vape with a blank mouthpiece until you need to drip again. It's not really recommended for a newbie because you can easily dry out the atomiser and that's not good. One of the things you learn early on with esmoking is to keep the atomiser not too wet and not too dry, this is easier to do with a moist cartridge.

You might find some useful tips here - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/2562-helpful-links-videos-new-user.html

Don't bother buying carts unless you've got money up the wazoo.

Just purchase liquid from anywhere in your desired strength and flavor
and fill up the cartridges you already have (placing a few drops of the
liquid into the fiber of the cartridge), or you can use the dripping method.

Dripping is putting a few drops straight into the atomizer and inhaling with
an empty (i.e. no fiber insert) mouthpiece. From my experience with 901s
you get a better draw but it'll only last the equivalent of one or two real
cigarettes. I drip when I'm at home or at work when it's convenient.
I use filled cartridges on the road.

Puresmoker has a pretty big selection of flavored liquids, I'm happy with his
stuff and as I'm sure you've read here he's excellent with customer service.

A good way to go would be get a black Classic Penstyle kit with blue LED and a bottle of e-liquid from Puresmoker.com. You will recieve 10 assorted carts with it so you can top off the carts with the fluid. I get at least 4-5 days per cart by keeping them topped off.
